The layout of the house was amazing. We were a group of 3 partners (6 adults) coming together for a 50th. We were each able to have our own bathroom and area. There are three bathrooms, two loungerooms and a huge kitchen area. The outside entertainment area and firepit was where we spent most of our time
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The outside space and the beautiful surroundings were perfect. We only stayed one night as we were touring but if we could have stayed longer we would have. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the cottage. The shower was powerful and the place was clean. We did not meet the owners but the instructions/communication for getting there and entry were clear.
Lovely location and nice walk to river! Peaceful place and loved the furry and feathered farm animals. Cabin is clean but our bed was uncomfortable. Would of been better if a spare blanket or two were available. We were there on a really cold night. Heater was not operational following morning and did not get a response when called mobile number provided.
loved everything about this property. The cabin was very roomy and warm. The outdoor area included a fire pit with lots of wood for the night. The animals were adorable and the walk along the river was beautiful. Definitely be back!

Lovely scenery with lots of animals in the property. It was a fantastic experience 😀. Cottage was super clean and love the private fire pit. We stayed at the Melani Cottage. No phone reception but the WiFi was extremely fast and reliable. Husband and I love how private the cottage was. Ideal for a couples long weekend. It was so fun getting eggs every morning from the chicken house. Carolyn and Vincent were a delight to deal with and nothing was a problem.
Spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. A beautiful quaint little cottage full of charm and character. Everything was catered for and more. Our hosts had thought of everything including fresh eggs from the resident chooks. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. A short walk to the river and the scenery beautiful. We were a party of 7 and would highly recommend this beautiful old cottage and their hosts. Wonderful time had by all.
