We were looking for a quiet, cozy getaway not too far from our home in Vienna. Sonnenweg was more than a perfect solution. Owner, Christian, is one of the kindest and most helpful Booking hosts we've ever met. The home itself has absolutely everything you need to feel you are staying at your own place. Bed was great for peaceful sleep in the countryside and sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening was great too. We also had a BBQ and let our dog play in the private yard. The area around the Zicksee is quiet and great for getting away from big city life. We plan to go back and have already recommended Sonnenweg to many of our friends :D

Very clean, fridge filled by the owners with the essentials, coffee and tea making facilities, gated property with off-road parking and outdoor seating area. The location is quiet ,the locals are very friendly and polite, and it's short drive to Parndorf outlet as well as access to the motorway.

Karin is an excellent host, very friendly and supportive! The accommodation is very comfortable, you'll find everything you need, a lots of towels, all of the appliances, air conditioning even! I appreciated the refurbishment and furniture, it was very nicely furnished and very comfortable. There is a nice cafe in the backyard, you can get breakfast, coffee, snacks from very early in the morning. It is also very close to the Neusiedler lake. Very nice holidays, I warmly recommend staying here!

Our expectation to spend a short trip in a nice and quiet place was absolutely fulfilled. The apartment was spacious with the wonderfull winter garden.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Very friendly host. Everything was communicated and worked out easily through WhatsApp. A complimentary bottle of wine and some coffee-capsules, which was nice! Lovely seating area outside (but bad weather for me unfortunately), with everything you need for a cosy stay. Short walking distance to center of village.
A memorable stay. Charming location, staff were super friendly and the host, Mr. Opitz possibly the most charismatic Austrian I've had the pleasure to meet. My tip at breakfast - if you're offered truffle oil on the omelette just say YES.
Everything was perfect. Very nice and cozy place, kind owners who made sure we were happy all the time. A big bike rental is near by what was an advantage for us.
