Extremely attentive staff, very friendly with outstanding service. Obviously the staff takes pride in their work, and rightfully so. They make you feel at home (Angel and Andine were fantastic). The restaurant serves tasty, well prepared food and they cater to dietary requests (my wife is pescatarian) offering additional dishes on top of an already good selection. Our ranger (Sipho) was excellent, spotting wildlife with ease and always making the effort to ensure the safari's are a great experience.

Jock Safari Lodge, hotel in Skukuza

This award-winning lodge borders Kruger National Park at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers. It offers private Big Five safari tours, and has a sauna and hydrotherapy spa.

We loved the lodge. It was a truly special experience. Everything. The safari, the food, the environment of the hotel, the facilities, the staffs. It is an expensive experience, but totally worth it if you have the chance to invest!

Nkuhlu Tented Camp, hotel in Skukuza

Located within 31 km of Skukuza Indigenous Plants Nursery and 24 km of Skukuza Museum, Nkuhlu Tented Camp provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Skukuza.

At the end of my three-week tour through the Kruger National Park, I spent three nights in this camp. It was fantastic! The staff are very friendly and helpful. And the tents are incredibly comfortable! Nothing is missing. There is seating on the terrace and an easy to use gas barbecue. The kitchen in the tent also leaves nothing to be desired, everything you need is there. The bed is huge and you can sleep well in it. The shower and the bathroom in general are really great! So nice: every evening there was a little story on my bed and a matching little animal figure as a gift. Such a lovely idea! It makes your heart beat faster. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. I would love to come back when I have the chance. Greetings from Germany.

Located close skukuza gate of the Kruger national park. It was value for money. Friendly staff and helpful. Missed having a kitchen portion, as it was not self catering. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience.

Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience. This being said, it is not a zoo! Don't expect to see all the existing animals in the parc! Some are easy to spot and other not so much, this is real animal kingdom and it's difficult to say who is watching who! Sun sets are also amazing with beautiful colors. Vegetation is small but dense(bushes). According to our guide it is easier to spot the animal during winter / dry season. Bushes hve less leaves making easier spotting animals and the animals gather around the water spot. During summer it is the opposite. Bushes are more dense and r'there is water everywhere making animal spotting more difficult. So an advice: winter is great for animals but of course temperature are lower so be prepared for low temperature and bring some warm clothes.

Very good upmarket hotel with well equipped luxury rooms and facilities. Dinner and breakfast included in the rate and both were exquisite. Friendly and helpful staff to assist from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. I can highly recommend a planned holiday to this hotel which is situated only a few hundred metres away from the Kruger Gate leading to Skukuza. Great vacation.

We took 1 game drive with them and it was a 200/10. Our guide, Elvis, did everything in his power to help us find the Big Five & I’ll never forget him & his knowledge. Get to Kruger Gate Hotel now!!

There was some delay in the pick up from the airport which we had requested. Apart from that the stay was well beyond expectations. The staff was ever smiling, polite and eager to please. The food quality and spread was very substantial even for vegetarians. It was value for money

We absolutely loved everything about this place. It had beautiful interior, it was super clean, barely any insects, the host was reachable and responsive all the time - without a doubt I would come there again! The place looks almost better than in the pictures and cleaning was done every day. Also, this place is within a protected space from the Kruger Gate Hotel and you can use their pool and restaurant if you consume something there. Thanks again for having us, it was amazing!

This place was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there. You can see wild elephants drinking at the river in the evening when you're sipping a cocktail at the pool. There is a large choice of food for breakfast and in the evening there is also a buffet. It is a calm and peacefull hotel with kind staff. We booked the safari tour from the hotel 2 times and were very lucky. Our driver was kind and helpfull. Because we left early, we got a lunchbox for along the way. It was huge!

We loved everything. I truly do not know, how one could not give 10 stars for this hotel. From the moment you arrive, you feel like home. They spend a lot of thoughts on the details, as you will have 2-3 people, that will be responsible for specific room numbers and who know your preferences, names and take personal care of you. The location, the venue, the rooms, the view (hippos) are amazing. This was such a unique and wonderful experience

This wonderful accommodation place is located in one of the campsite area in Lower Sabie rest camp. Shared ablution and kitchen facilities is available on the site. Portable air-con is provided in the tent which would keep you warm or cool in winter/summer. Special mention to Joy Ubisi for her excellent hospitality. This place is highly recommended to all looking for a reasonably priced tent accommodation inside Kruger Park.

This hotel is one amazing place to be! Everything was top level! The rooms - large, modern, and clean. The pool bar with the infinite pool - incredible! The restaurant and the food - high level. But the most valuable thing for me was the staff! Friendly, nice, and polite. And especially the Guest Relationship Manager - Sarah! She is the most helpful human being on the planet! We love you, Sarah! Thank you for everything.

Very pleasant stay - everything was extremely clean (for a tent, of course), in a nice quiet area in central Skukuza in between the Shop and Train. If you want to camp on your Safari but are flying in and don't have a tent etc., this is a good option. Location also had good cell phone service, which is usually questionable in Kruger. The manager, Merriam, was very pleasant and responsive as well!
