The bedroom's fireplace was extremely smoky and we subsequently had to sleep with windows open as I am asthmatic. The food at the restaurant served my husband a very tough and overcooked steak. My fish was ok. The staff were very welcoming, but the presentation is overly geared towards overseas travelers.

Where do I start… this property was the “accommodation highlight” of our three weeks in Africa. Second to none. The treetop lodges are total luxury. They’re nicer than any hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. There are countless little 5-star luxuries we experienced, like a welcome bottle of bubbles for our honeymoon, a complimentary mini-bar and the service… the staff act like they were born and trained just for your stay! The turndown was amazing with a lit fire and little treats in the bed, the dinner in all three on-site restaurants was amazing and the views all round the lodges are spectacular. We got our laundry done as this was the halfway point of our trip and we also used the brilliant gym. Thank you all so much.

Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around.
Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around. Lots to do and see in and around Plettenberg Bay. Be careful whe choosing accommodation. Booking.com asked our arrival time at our accommodation booked which we said will be between 16h00 and 17h00. We had the option to pay on arrival. For security we gave our credit card number on booking.com. However...our host put the payment through at 14h00 when we were stil in Knysna. Our host added an additional fee to our booking. Our host had his own reasons for charging the additional fee. We arrived in time. Will not recommend The Green Palm Cottage

Our family's time in Plettenberg Bay was truly unforgettable. The town's central location made exploring the area a breeze, with convenient access to local amenities like grocery stores and the stunning nearby beaches. We were thrilled to discover attractions such as the Knysna Elephant Park and Adventure Land, just a short drive away, adding excitement to our vacation. However, one thing to note is that there are limited halaal food options in the area, which posed a challenge for us. Nonetheless, after our adventures, returning to our cozy retreat provided the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge. The warm hospitality of the locals further enhanced our experience, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Plettenberg Bay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation on South Africa's beautiful coastline.

The highlight of our visit was our walk on the Robberg Peninsular - stunning scenery, seals and other wildlife (lizards etc). Make sure if you do the walk that you take plenty of water with you, wear proper walking shoes (flip flops just won't cut it) and be aware that in some places there are climbs that are quite challenging.

Jillie the host was helpful & kept in touch despite travelling back from UK.
The apartment was like a boutique hotel, comfortable, stylish, well equipped and spotlessly clean.
I was working so the outside work area with power points as well as the spectacular view of the beaches made working a joy.
Its has a great location, you can walk to all the local Plett amenities & wifi even worked during the electricity outages that are effecting South Africa.
I'd highly recommend No,2 in Plett and the hostess Jillie
It’s a rustic cottage vibe that has a beautiful view over to beacon island hotel.
Perfect location to enjoy what Plettenberg has to offer. Very close to all that Plet has to offer within a walking distance.
The host was always available to sort out any questions or concerns we had and also provided a list of restaurants and nearby attractions that other visitors love.
Great location with secure off street parking. The beach vibe is there in force with the restaurant focusing on the beach view and several funky outdoor seating areas for guests. The restaurant was a highlight with great meals at excellent prices: we ate there both evenings that we stayed. The inclusions in the room: drinks and nibbles, and the breakfasts were great.
Good to know - Getting to this hotel is via shuttle\boat that they have (no additional payment unless it's late at night).
A very nice place, nice room and beautiful view with Zebras in front of your window.
The team was very nice and helpful, kind people.
Comfortable bed and organized and stylish rooms.
Lovely modern and clean rooms, very nicely decorated. Comfy beds, large shower and bathroom. The balcony with sea view was well worth it. Parking on site . Great location. We ate in Adi’s restaurant at the hotel which was perfect. All the hotel and restaurant staff were lovely and helpful.
Everything!!!!
Beautiful house, and very comfortable well equipped rooms. Amazing breakfast, cooked by our great hostess Caroline.
Enjoyed feeling like we were in a home rather than a hotel room. And Lady the gorgeous cat was an added bonus.
The property was wonderfully situated right on the beach with fabulous views from the rooms. I loved the small private terrace and also the restaurant with river views. the rooms were large and clean and nicely decorated.
The place was very comfortable very beautiful and Extremely safe.
Great value for money 💰 . If your looking for a self catering apartment in Plettenberg bay then African Sea Breeze should be your first pic.
This place is amazing. The staff are the real stars and the location is perfect for a Plettenberg Bay visit. My partner and I will definitely make this our permanent hotel each time we visit the town!
