Plett is renowned for its outstanding beaches, beautiful scenery , excellent restaurants and trendy shopping opportunities, I was there for a private celebration but have visited Barringtons, The Fat Fish and French bakery La Fournil on previous occasions and service and quality of food is very good indeed. Cafe and coffee shop Mac Nut on Longships Drive is great for breakfast and various goodies:- homemade rusks, dried fruits, herbs & spices and many other items are available.

It was nice to walk around the town but most stores were closed. We tried to get to the beach but kept going down wrong streets. We ended up on a balcony overlooking the ocean which was beautiful until two young girls tried scam us to steal our phone. Who wants to borrow my phone to take her friends picture.

Unique accommodation up in the treetops near Plettenberg Bay. The room was amazing with a huge sitting room, patio, separate balcony and big bathroom with outdoor and indoor shower. Staff were very friendly and made sure we were having a great experience. Check in in time to make sure you get maximum time to enjoy the room but also the grounds of the hotel with its beautiful chapel and aloe gardens. Thanks to the family for a great stay!
