Cleanliness and comfort!!
Ubuntu from their staff is unmatched, it felt like we were in our long lost grandmother’s home. When people go over and above, not because it’s their job but because they genuinely want to. The staff is their secret weapon, we could feel the Love in everything that they did for us.

Our timing was spot-on as the misty atmosphere made for an excellent road trip in and around Nottingham Road. We were amazed at how much the Midlands has developed in the last 10 years since our last visit.

Most beautiful scenic trip and stops along the way.
Most beautiful scenic trip and stops along the way. The only 2 negatives are the condition of the road which could do with a new lick of tar or at the least filling all the potholes and lastly cutting away the bushes from the road.

One of the best places to visit, stunning places to eat, lots of little shops to purchase real Notties stuff, and the people there are so friendly, they love their visitors, will do anything to recommend a place to visit, or a place to eat, also they have so much to do, walking trails, cycling, canoeing, bird watching.

Clean and neat, the room was very comfortable. Staff exceptional and extremely hospitable. Precious was truly outstanding as a hostess and her friendly and accommodating attitude is an example to other hotels. Brandon in the restaurant was also very attentive and provided a scrumptious breakfast. Thank you.
The location was very close to Bierfassl, Nottingham Road Junction and Spar, which is a bonus. It was also a positive surprise to see a power backup inverter installed to overcome loadshedding.
Lovely old charm hotel that is in very good condition. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Beautiful setting with well maintained garden and lawns. Stunning sunset from the lakeside!
