We booked to stay in Nelspruit because our group boking at Sanbonani was only due to start in 3 days. We wanted to take FlySafair to Nelspruit as it was cheaper to do this and stay in Nelspruit for 3 days than it was to fly with the next cheapest airline and go straight to Sanbonani. FlySafAir only flies from Cape Town to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport twice a week, hence the decision to stay in Nelspruit.

BUT MY STAY AT NELSPRUIT MERCURE HOTEL WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT AND COMPLETE DISSASTER.
NO PROPER WI - FI ,STREETS AROUND PREMISES NOISY EARLY MORNING TILL LATE AT NIGHT , DOORS SQUEECKING ,LOW OR NO WAYER PRESSURE AT TIMES ,FURNITURE OUTDATED ESPECIALLY THE TV AND AIRCON , NO PROPER MAINTENANCE AND THE PRICE PER ROOM PER NIGHT NOT WORTH IT - BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE AT A LOWER PRICE AND BETTER LOCATION.A STOVE IN THE ROOM BUT NO COOKING POTS AND PANS AND PROPER CUTLERY.PLENTY OF DEFECTS ALL AROUND.WILL DEFINITELY NOT EVEN CONSIDER TO STAY THERE EVER AGAIN.

The cleanliness, the place is more secured and very quiet, the stuff, actually everything was just great my family loved the place so much, a visit for a week will do. Indeed we really enjoyed❤️❤️❤️❤️
The property was fantastic and peaceful, the moment I had arrived fallen in love with the property and surroundings. Paula is a great person and had even made dinner for us one night due to load shedding, without our knowledge. The property is fully self catering and has everything for your needs. It’s a perfect location to get away from the outside world and relax. I’ll be definitely be back again, thank you again Paula for a wonderful stay.
Room size -we were lucky and got upgraded - fabulous huge clean room. Thank you.

Food was all good - we stayed on a DBB basis. This was good as hotel is some way from town up steep hills. So once there we could relax fully. Plenty of different spaces across the hotel where you could dine!

Good small self-catering apartment in quiet area of Nelspruit city. Room stay inside big villa where have more rooms for stay. Owner stay in another size of building. Inside room have big area for seating (sofa and table), bed stay separate room from kitchen and living room. Next to room have area for seating.
Price is the cheapest in the area, owner is friendly.

There is a lady by the name of Quite. That lady is excellent in that she has a full understanding of why she is in the front desk. She is very friendly and perseverance to assist customers. She really assisted me from end to end. She made me to consider using the same Hotel when i come to Nelspruit.
Bed was amazingly comfortable and hotel had everything we needed. We were in Nelspruit for the rugby and was perfect for a weekend stay.
We organised transfers to and from the rugby with the Hotel and they dropped us off and picked us up exactly when they said they would.
No breakfast, location is in town not really far from where we were going and coming from. The room i was in wasnt that bad. It actually had everything you need in 1 room. I booked for a night and rebooked again the following day. I enjoyed our stay there.
This is great value for money. At the cheapest place in town at 315 Rand, it is a lovely space with everything - full kitchen, sitting area and a great bed. You need a lighter to turn on the stove as it does not have an ignition.
It's a decent location with good access to places to eat, a supermarket, etc. It's near the main road and so an easy drive to access attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and check in was smooth.
I like the hotel because of its location and restaurant facility in the same place, which is helpful in Nelspruit. The staff was accommodating in assisting with essential needs.
Location was out of town and very quite. Loved being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. Will definitely go again. Place was very clean as well
