I was looking for a country get away where I could relax and take long walks with my dog. I assumed from the accommodation site information that there was hiking on the property - this was not the case. Mooiriver town has nothing to commend it . Rearsby was close to a very good spa and also next door to a very good eating establishment - if that is your thing. It is also close enough for an easy trip to Nothingham Road.

Mooiriver is beautiful with a mountain view.its cozy in the winter because of the cold so many places have a fireplace. There is lots to see an do in the area. It's about 1 an a half hours from Durban so it's the perfect get away from the busy city. Lots of farmlands an a more relaxed way of life.

I had no idea there was such beautiful country behind what most of us see when we drive through or past the Mooi River Toll. We took a drive from Hartford through on the Kamburg road right up to Giants Castle, absolutely stunning area xx

We spent a lot of our time at various school functions. We did spend time at the Rosetta Hotel and had a really great time. We had a very relaxing weekend and spent the rest of our time at the Midlands Saddle and Trout resort.
Just a perfect hotel! Wonderful setting. Beautiful room. So many details and such a kind attention for the guests. The dinner was stunting! Waw! Breakfast amazing with a lovely view (the garden).
Everything. The arrival, attention to detail. The standard room with King bed. The decor. The meals, the general ambience of the hotel.
The fine dining, and exceptional tasting dinner menu.
Excellent breakfast , and the location of the hotel is great .
Exquisite food and fantastic wines . I recomend the tasting menu at Hartford .
