We were just happy for the accommodation. Next time just give the guest heads-up or option to choose the upstairs room or ground room.
Carrying suite cases upstairs can be a disadvantage especially when you are staying longer.
Overall, the place was just perfect.

We were there for the tombstone and did not check places.
We ate outside the premises. Because when I was doing the bookings I thought breakfast is included, my mistake.

Accommodation was clean, but problem was their stuff, they were actually bad and having to struggle to no water in the morning.. Have to make means of collecting water with water bottles just to freshen up😡

Mahikeng has really nice places.
Mahikeng has really nice places. I learned the history of the city/town. Went to the Game reserve, WonderGat, Mmabatho Palms, provincial high court, Montshioa cultural Village Centre, the big lehika and many more. It was such a great experience. I really loved it. I got lost driving to Mahikeng Game Reserve but got assistance from very welcoming and humble people. If anyone needs a tour around Mahikeng, I highly recommend Lovisto tours. Book a tour with them. You will enjoy your trip/vacation

Poor road signs around Mahikeng.
Poor road signs around Mahikeng. Easy to get lost, especially at night. Had our car broken into at the Royal Lounge in town on Friday evening. Be very careful parking anywhere other that a secued parking lot.
This place have the best,clean,neat villas around Mafikeng,with a very fair affordable prices. Their staff is exceptional especially the Owner if the place,he gave us the best hospitality ever experienced. We will definitely go back there.
We had a 3 bedroom villa,and it was just me and my other brother...we even bought grocery and cooked in their kitchen...everything was perfect from parking,the security was the best.
If they can add pool area then the place will be 11/10.
The price. It really tumbled from the heighs of 10 years ago ehen i used Protea Mafikeng regularly unyil i lodt my battle against their front door which refused to behave, even after many complaints abd petitions.
I guess the covid slump has made the hotel more accessible, price-wise.
The place is ok. Maintenance is needed as there is water leaking in the bathroom. Painting also needed. Small things missing as what you will receive in a hotel, for example, show cap, lotion, soap. Just a little more attention to detail is needed
Easily accessible, accountable staff-we left the keys in the room and one of the hotel staff followed us to alert us of this. The air-conditioning was perfect and saved us from the heat. The fridge came handy
We were pleasantly surprised with this stay! Lovely newly renovated lodge, spacious modern room, friendly staff, great food from the restaurant and great access to surrounding sites in Mafikeng.
