We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!

Ingrid made our stay absolutely perfect!! We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

Unreal location. The game drives are superb. Guides are phenomenal. Such an amazing experience. I would recommend three nights if you can swing it, just to get the best chances of good sightings.

It is one hour from Port Elizabeth airport and is large enough to support large animals.the rooms are spaced from enough from each other so you can not see or hear other guest.. The food was very good, plentiful and had a good variety during our five day stay. The grounds are clean and offer good viewing of non threatening animals. The common areas have plenty of shade and seating.
