The surrounds are so peaceful, the grounds are stunning, and the entire vibe is so fun. We booked the family room and it was very spacious. There were enough blankets to keep us warm, stunning decor, a wonderful outdoor shower, and although we didn't get a chance to use the fireplace, it's a great addition. There are so many animals on the grounds, and not only are they all friendly but the dogs also add an element of safety to an already secluded paradise. There were kitchen facilities in the main house that were easy to access and plenty of little nooks to curl up in if you want to decompress. It was just enough outside of town to give that home-away-from-home feel whilst still being nearby enough that there were food and other amenities in the town nearby.

We stayed at the Lourie for 5 nights as a means of being centrally located to attractions around Knysna and Plettenberg bay. We couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay at. Great value for money
We were welcomed by Angie that took us for a brief tour of the cottage. A really lovely person. Angie left a few surprising welcome touches such as a welcome board, milk, ice and out of this world brownies
The cottage was nicely laid out, clean and had fresh bedding. Towels were exchanged every second day. The kitchen is fully equipped, free WiFi and DStv and the cottage is surrounded by lush green surroundings of the property with nice views from the porch on the ground and first floor that overlook the valley on the property. There is a table with chairs in a private courtyard and there is braai facilities
We were a family of 3 and had the 6 sleeper all to ourselves. Should we ever visit Knysna/ Plettenberg area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

I loved everything about the property.
First things first location, it’s closer to a lot of tourist attractions and it’s very peaceful. The room was super clean, bonus was the warm water🤭. The breakfast was very nice 👌🏾. The hospitality from the hosts is amazing.
