What a gem! Felt like home! Comfortable, peaceful, serene, calm... Sea views at the front and mountain views at the back. Upset that we only got to spend 1 night... if I knew about the place and the area I would have changed our travel plans to stay a night or 2 longer.

The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view.
It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

We went primarily to meet a friend.
We went primarily to meet a friend. Apart from being the most southerly point in Africa, it doesn’t have much to recommend it compared to many other places. There are nice beaches and rocky shores and a small harbour, but many of those elsewhere. The lighthouse is worth a visit - but major construction taking place when we were there so no car park etc.. There are quite a few dirt roads in the area which, apart from offering a rough ride, make the car very dirty. The main access road is fine however.

Alan and Sheryll are excelllent hosts and Gareth ans Tash stood in well for them when they were away. The property is well located, well appointed and clean. All the staff are very friendly and the breakfasts were superb. Agulhas is quiet but friendly and has a couple of decent restaurants. Great walking available in the area.

Best location in Agulhas. The view and openness the accommodation provides is superb! There is nothing missing and the location is close to shops and restaurants
We like the proximity to shops, lighthouse and Agulhas visit point. The room was also very clean and the furniture was nice, especially the huge chair.
