- very friendly staff
- comfortable and large room with all amenities it requires
- two nice pools, a larger and a smaller one
- authentic breakfast, we especially liked the Uganda Rolex dish :)
- close proximity to Addo Elephant Park main entrance
- Management pro-actively mentioning the proximity of a gravel road close by where there's potential louder truck traffic (but was not a problem at all)
- also, as there is no dinner available, the Elephant House already reserved us a table in a restaurant near by - excellent service!
- large grocery shopping facility within 5min drive

I liked everything. The place is exceptionally beautiful, quiet and peaceful which is what I needed. The room exceeded my expectations and I like that there's books in the room for someone who likes to read like me. The staff was very friendly, thank you the lady who agreed to be my photographer since I traveled solo. When I checked out, I was surprised to see the staff washing my car, that was just so thoughtful. Honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had

We had such an amazing stay here. The view is beautiful and at night you only hear the sounds of the animals in the wild.

The park was fantastic with plenty of interaction with elephants.
We ate at the Africanos and Tangelo restaurants. Both were absolutely superb.
I was in an SUV but the roads in and around the park are perfectly good enough for even the lowest of vehicles.
The local supermarket is great for those in self-catering accommodation.

I have visited Addo on many occasions (my third in the last six months) and it is never the same. vegetation changes by season, certain species are more visible than others and of course the elephant will always be there to see but not always in large herds.
Birding is always good but more so in the hot months.
The park is of such a size that you can always plan to get back to the picnic site, Jack's in time for lunch or tea. There are excellent ablution facilities, shaded picnic sites but no shop or restaurant which can be found at Addo main camp.

We can’t get enough of the Elephant Park and we’re loving the Safari’s at Schotia. Zip lining at Adrenaline is also one of our favourites. We are living 4 hours away from Addo, so most of the time we are coming for the weekend ( Two nights) . It’s always too short…
The area "Addo" is not really nice, but there are nice places to stay.

Addo Elephant National Park was nice.
Addo Elephant National Park was nice. We saw tons of elephants, zebras, and other resident animals native to this area in the park. Probably best to spend one night in accommodations in or near the national park and then the other night in one of the game reserves near the park.
The meals were excellent, the place is idyllic with some amazing views over the Addo Elephant Park, and we really enjoyed hiking the Porcupine Trail on the property and seeing some Sable antelope close up. Overall, the staff, service and facilities were excellent.
It was very quiet, beautiful and close to Addo main camp. We did not use the facilities for breakfast & dinner, but their self catering options are awesome. Bathroom was unique and fun, and the beds slept really well
We had a large room with a seating area and large bathroom . The gardens are lovely to walk in,so beautiful. The onsite restaurant is also very good. Well situated for visiting Addo elephant park
