The owner had good hospitality skills. I was upgraded to a private room for no extra fee. The first night i was there i went to a village feast. Nice local food. The landscape is beautiful i walked up to heavens gate and back through town. Awesome views.

Our favourite homestay experience on the Ha Giang Loop! We felt very welcomed. The family is very hospitable and prepared and incredible dinner for us and ate with us. We communicated through Google translate and enjoyed some happy water and karaoke with the sisters…they sang beautiful Vietnamese songs. Highly recommend. The views are absolutely stunning! Super friendly family! The guy will go extra miles just so you get what you want - run to store (literally) for beers, bring a new fan (ventilator) if you really need one. There is no aircon but it would be ridiculous to expect for this kind of money. Very cute kids that will make your day!

My partner and I were doing the Ha Giang Loop together and came here on our last night of the loop. On arrival, the host was so friendly and helpful with our bags. If you're travelling on a motorbike like we were, the host was super nice and placed our motorbike in a secured location on the property. The hosts also cooked us the most beautiful and heartwarming dinner to be enjoyed with the host & his family. After dinner, we had a really fun time with a couple of drinks & singing karaoke, which everyone joined in and enjoyed themselves. We booked a private room that was on the top floor of the lodge, and the bedroom had the most amazing views of the valley and mountains. The room itself was very clean and felt safe with having a mosquito net over the bed as the room wasn't fully sealed, but also to mention how soft and comfortable the bed was! The shower/toilet is located in your room as a private which are very clean, couldn't seem to get hot water to work but at the same time we were not fussed due to the fact of the time of year it was for us being quite hot. The lodge itself is a very beautiful wooden/rustic building that has a very ethnic style. Breakfast the next morning was super yummy, and looking out to the most breathtaking views, we also loved the egg banh mi and bananas, too. Overall, the host & hosts family were very welcoming, and we would 100% stay here again!
