The Milligan, hotel in Kingstown

Situated in Kingstown, less than 1 km from Brighton Beach, The Milligan features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

The proprietors of the property are amazing and hospitable people who accepted to offer their kind hospitality right after hurricane Beryl and the whole area was without power. That was extremely kind of them at a time of room shortages on the island. They were most helpful all along till we were well on our way to the airport.

Waves Villa Guesthouse, hotel in Kingstown

Featuring a balcony with sea views, pool with a view and a garden, Waves Villa Guesthouse can be found in Kingstown, close to Argyle Beach and 400 metres from Mt. Pleasant Beach.

As a solo traveller who has visited over 32 different countries. Waves villa has the best host I’ve ever had. Kimo and Claire are so amazing, professional, pleasant, kind and always willing to assist. From getting a driver, help planning my excursions or even answers to questions I had about the island, they were available every time with valuable information to ensure I had a smooth experience. Cleanliness: I stayed in the Silver Palm villa. It was very clean and spacious with a beautiful clear view of Bequia. The room has a fan and AC. A small kitchenette, full size bathroom and a balcony. The view is amazing…photos are very accurate. The location is very peaceful and beautiful. Property: The property is very clean and well maintained. The salt water pool is also heated with 24hrs access. Waves villa is approximately 8mins walking distance to the beach (Tide pond). The area is very safe, I had a good time. I would definitely recommend staying here. **Clair thanks again for my welcome drink and packing my lunch for the hike you are an amazing human being your kindness radiates through you so much! Thank you 😊

Wallilabou bay (Pirates of the Caribbean location), Dark view falls (a great fall with easy access and change room available), Owia salt pond and Black point tunnel all wonderful places all excellent places. Getting around is not that easy so renting a car is advised.

If you're going to be on the island for more than one week...

If you're going to be on the island for more than one week rent a car , the public transportation is horrible the taxis are expensive and the busses are packed. They will literally make you sit on their laps. Visit Bequia and plan your trip more around the Grenadines instead of mainland St Vincent. Visit villa beach , owia salt pond and hike the volcano. Take a walk through the local market and try the local cuisine. Be very careful , don't move around with to much cash especially at nights if you're out on the streets. The people are some of the best in the world very warm hearted and helpful. Visit VJ's resturant in Kingstown for local food On Fridays head to French Varanda from 5pm Visit chill spot for a mix of local and international cuisine Paradise Beach hotel for their burgers and roti. Head to bluelagoon for their BBQ buffet on Wednesdays.

The hotel had a very chilled, Vincy style vibe, we felt very comfortable and welcomed The rooms were spacious, and the view out to sea was stunning, set in beautifully landscaped gardens with local mango and breadfruit trees, the staff were friendly responsive and helpful. Also closely located on the strip were other hotels bars and restaurants, if you like a bit of variety, plus you get the free boat ride over to Young Island resort, remember to get permission first, by calling the Young Island

We loved that the beach was right in front of the hotel. The pool was simple with no depth, which was fine for my little one.
