Location and river view are great, see some birds and dolphins directly from inside the house. We enjoyed both the sunrise from the right and sunset from the left, they are easily visible from the patio and at the dock.
The kitchen is fully stocked. we typically have light breakfast there. There are also a lots of nightlights inside for elders.

Nothing there to see, I like the cute little old fashion train station and mini general stores we seen, but the closest Walmart is 30 plus minutes away, none of the plantations were open for touring… the whole town looks run down

I loved the location, checking in was easy, friendly staff. Place was very clean, room was very nice, cool and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, had anything you could want. Hot or cold with many selections and organized Coffee is great. Staff was there to help with anything you needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. Love this hotel!!

we really can't comment on the town...we were there just to...
we really can't comment on the town...we were there just to rest, fix our boat trailer and move on...we had very nice people we dealt with that made the place a nice mid stop. Looks like a lot to do near by and we bought some fresh and yummy pecans but In to much of a rush to spend more time there had a place rented in the keys and needed to get there.

The staff at Beat Western Point South is amazing! I was greeted at check in and provided cookies, tea, and coffee as a welcome. Everyone I met was extremely nice and helpful, and the rooms were really clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and well done and got us set for the day. I do suggest arriving early for the best selection. This is an older property so if you are looking for fancy and new it may not be for you. For our family it was a welcome retreat on our drive home to NC from a trip to Disney. I would highly recommend!
The location was a perfect place to stop after driving from Florida and to visit Charleston and our way north. The price was much lower than staying in Charleston. It is just off the I-95 although it was very quiet for sleeping. There is coffee and cookies in the lounge. The chocolate chip were excellent! The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are 3 gas stations nearby. The hotel is very busy. Several people came in asking for a room but they were all booked up. Breakfast was okay.
Felt safe and friendly front desk agent. Also when asked, the front desk agent allowed me to look at the room before booking. This allowed me to ensure the safety of myself and small child- the room was clean and over hotel setting seemed safe and parking area was well lit. The breakfast was great as well- waffles, cereals, coffees and teas, yogurt etc. great assortment! I would stay here again! Thank you.
The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Having the mini refrigerator and microwave was a bonus. The staff was responsive and friendly. They actually became friends. When they finish their plans for the hotel it will be exceptional. If I return to the area I will stay there again.
Very few restaurants around unless you want fast food. Hotel just basic…Hampton Inn next door had a full parking lot, while Red Roof was sparse, but HI was double the price.
Convenient to I-95 though, with easy on/off the highway.
good price, served our purpose. Reasonable rates, beds were comfortable... this is economy hotel, so I was not expecting fancy hotel - it met our purpose and was clean, staff was friendly. Air was cold, quiet room, good nights sleep.
Welcoming, clean, friendly! Full breakfast, although the scrambled eggs and sausage were dry. The premises included a small lounge. Free cookies were available and delicious! Would definitely return to this Best Western. Thank you!
