West Columbia seems to be going through some changes due to the virus it seems as though some stores and things are closed. We were far enough from downtown Columbia that the prices were very good yet close enough that everything was within a 10 minute drive. Really is a good alternative to the higher prices downtown

Specifically searching for a hotel with a pool. Pool closes at 7pm. This is not notes anywhere on the site or woth booking.com.
Also the Ac was broken in the first room. Moved to another, which had holes in the walls, the bathroom door didn't shut, the room door wasn't very secure and the phone in the second room wasn't working.
The location is good and there is a sonic right beside the hotel. We were only there for one night Visiting family. This is the 2nd time staying there. We did not get the breakfast they stop it at 9 on the dot. So if you don't go before then you will have to go somewhere else.
The Motel has been remodeled and was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We even met the maid that had cleaned our room as she was awesome. Our room smelled really good when we got there.
