My husband and I enjoyed strolling through town, loved the antique shop we went into, I got an old fashioned ice cream scooper like we had went I was a child, well made and no fear of it bending out of shape after the first or millionth use.
It was within easy driving to the OHIO CAVERNS, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Loved the breakfast, the bar, and the location to the downtown area. The gal who checked us in was the same gal who served our drinks at the bar...she was fabulous! I didn't find a speck of dust in our hotel room and I enjoyed the pool as well. I'm sure the patio with the fire pit is nice in the warmer months. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!
Urbana had a winter storm and I was too scared to drive home from work (Marysville, 25 mins) in 40mph winds with temperatures in the negatives. I called about 5am to ask for a reservation and she said certainly we can help you without any wait. I got checked in at 830 am. So thankful!
Staff is friendly and the hotel new and has good amenities. Beds are comfortable and the outdoor patio is great fir socializing and enjoying the evening. Breakfast was good and fresh. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Urbana.
The breakfast could have been alot better, the waffle machine broke after the first day there and they didn't make any effort to get it repaired right away. They didn't have nearly enough food for a totally booked hotel
This hotel compares favorably to major brands such as Hampton and Fairfield. Nice patio overlooking large grassy area made for a nice environment to enjoy an evening drink.
