The hotel said my card used to book room wouldn't be charged until I arrived at 6 pm. Well my card was charged at 11:00 a.m that morning before I ever got off work, or deposited my check into my account..I took off early, deposited my check into my account, and then my family and I traveled 3.5 hours on Dec 15th 2022 for my son's graduation at Troy university for the following day. Get there and our rooms had been cancelled because my card was charged before funds were available. Although the card was only suppose to have been on file to hold rooms...then card would have been used to purchase rooms upon arrival!! I was furious! And then staff nastily told my family and I no rooms were available!

motel very old , didnt like the weekly guests sitting outside there doors drinking beer and cooking on their small grill. a real mess the next morning. motel very old, not kept up. should be torn down, can not be saved.

There needs to be a BIG sign for the motel right BEFORE the motel, the one now is past the motel, up against the pine trees and we missed the motel and had to turn around and go back, not a good set up.

We will definitely be staying again in the future. The staff was helpful and very curtious. The entire hotel was clean and smelled good .The rooms were nice with very comfortable bed. Great price and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Troy,Alabama.
Great location. Easy access. Hotel is a little older, but good value for the price. Room was clean and staff was excellent. Had no problems and felt safe. Good for a short stay. Needed a place to sleep and take a shower and feel safe. This place proved great for the need ! The two young ladies who were working at the front desk were very friendly and helpful ! One suggested a local restaurant which we did go to eat and it was OUTSTANDING !! Thank you to all the staff at this location !!
Good, quick choices for breakfast. Room had plenty of space. Bed very comfortable. Hotel was quiet throughout the night.
Personal note: we left something personal in the room and did not realize it till arriving home 10 hours later. When we contacted the hotel, the items had been found and were being kept in the office. We will just send a postage paid envelope and the hotel staff will gladly send the items to us. That is great service.
Not impressed with breakfast food. Area was clean. Bed comfortable. Super nice staff at check in. Room did not cool overnight. No fan for steam in bathroom.

The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. This was the second time staying at the Cornerstone Inn. And if my girls decide to do the Troy honors band next year we will stay there again!
