Travelled to our Capitol city for a Murder trial and the city is Lovely. The people are kind, the courthouse staff professional and courteous. Rolling hills & lovely trees that aren't just Palm trees. This "college town" (also our Government Seat), is THE most littered city I've seen, filthy actually. Very few nice restaurants, and a plethora of vape/smoke shops, liquor stores, and...litter. I mostly stayed by Railroad Square which is really cool, and drove some distance to visit a beach, because I'm a Floridian I HAVE to see all the beaches. Town is easy to navigate through and around, we drove up from South Florida and stayed over 2+ weeks

Firstly, there's a car park directly infront of the hotel which was great. Secondly, there is a pool and towels, gym etc, all great. Checking in was good too, staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Strangely no safe, the only hotel out of 7 that we stayed in without a safe.
Also, no bar, which was odd. Had to pop to the petrol station to get a drink.
Doubly strange, no restaurant for food in the evening, so out to the pizza place for food.

The location of the hotel for the reason I was in town. It's near the colleges, shops, restaurants, & unexpected necessities (i.e. Rx stores, walmarts).
The breakfast was ok. Add s/p & it's good. There was a good selection for it to he just a continental breakfast.
Check in staff (Carlton) was very nice and helpful. The customer before me asked to be assisted to her room & he made sure she had help (w/ the luggage carrier).

The location was great. It was in a business environment yet secluded. Stores and restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was wonderful. There was a variety for everyone!! I wish our stay was longer to enjoy all that the hotel had to offer. I will definitely book them again and in other locations. I loved the Dove products they offered in the bath area. The front desk staff was friendly as they took the time to explain all that the hotel had to offer during our stay.
Staff was wonderful. Rooms are HUGE - I love that. Breakfast was good, good coffee too. The beds are a bit squeaky and lumpy? Could be better. I slept fine but ....they could be better. I was very pleased with this hotel and if I found myself in the area, would stay again.

I really liked staying at the hotel. Check in was easy and they allowed me to check in early. Staff was accommodating and helped print some documents since the business center printer was out of ink. They were also very helpful in locating a lost item I had left in my room. The lounge cocktails were great. My only complaint was the little market could include more items especially since the nearest store was over half a mile away.
location was good just off highway. one of the maintenance guys seemed over worked and was very busy but was friendly enough just the same . the landscaping around the hotel was pleasing and had old Florida feel. Surprisingly got a goods nights sleep considering it was a game night in town.
