The hotel bares the name of "Hotel & Spa", however, the actual spa service is extra. The hotel does have an outdoor pool which guests could use for free. However, it was impractical in the cold raining winter. The actual spa with the indoor pools, however aren't free. Guests have to pay $49 for a day pass. We was surprised to find out we had to pay extra for the spa pool. In addition, there was a waiting list for the pools and bath house, so, the service was not guaranteed if you are willing to pay. We wish the website would have that information.

The bungalow is beautiful, lovely decor and furniture. It is spacious and very well equipped. Two big bedrooms and bathrooms. Location was great 15 min walk into town but also 20 min walk to the wineries so no driving needed. The host lives in another bungalow on site so was available if needed.

I felt it was pretty, but it didn’t really have the choice of restaurants. I felt Napa was definitely the place to stay and they had more restaurants and more places to eat breakfast. Sonoma was a bit small.

Just an hour or so outside San Francisco, Sonoma is a picturesque city set among the vineyards in Northern California. It features a beautiful square with galleries, shops and restaurants. They often feature live music in the square. Great for a long weekend, the vineyards offer tours and tastings. There is also a wonderful cheese shop there. If you enjoy being active, don’t miss the hiking/biking trails in the area.

It is a quiet and over-looked town! MUST SEE! They have a cute downtown Sonoma Plaza, with a Visitor Bureau with free coupons (2 for 1 wine tasting), lots of cute and varied shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of museums and the Sonoma Mission right there. We visited Buena Vista, Gundlach Bundschu, and Jacuzzi wineries--ALL were beautiful! We had a great dining experience at Sonoma Grill and Bar in the back terrace.

Downtown Sonoma is a quaint town with cafes, galleries, a movie theater, and most importantly, two ice cream shops (we chose the Chocolate Cow). We also found a wonderful hike nearby called Sonoma Overlook in the downtown area. About 1.3 miles up for a beautiful view of the city.

The foods we tried were all delicious.
The foods we tried were all delicious. The town square and park were quaint as well as the city itself. I loved the architecture of the homes in the downtown area. The area is very walkable and there were many unique shops.
Stayed Dec 27-29, 2023. The hotel isn't fancy but the facilities were excellent, staff was excellent, it was clean and the breakfast was excellent. There was quiche, cereal, bagels, juices, muffins, the coffee was great, and there were hard boiled eggs. The location is about 1 mile from downtown and thus it's a little too far to walk. However the price was more than $100 less than the hotels by the downtown square and considering breakfast was included it is a super excellent value.
Andrea's Hidden Cottage is a gem! With its central location off the plaza in Sonoma, we were able to walk to many great shops, restaurants, parks, museums, and more, yet it was still peaceful and secluded. The kitchenette allowed us to prepare our own breakfasts and pack lunches for our drives around wine country. The bed was super comfy, the hot tub and yard were lovely, and everything was clean and well kept. Communication was also stellar. We would definitely stay here again!
The King room was very clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Continental buffet breakfast had something for everyone. We did not use the pool but the hot tub was a bonus and the gym was not extensive but was adequately equipped. It was nice to be able to walk into the main part of Sonoma with a flat 20 minute walk. A big supermarket was 10 minute walk away. I would use the hotel again.
The location is only a 5-6 minute drive to the heart of Sonoma. Since it is also within 30-40 minutes of the towns of Napa, Petaluma, Sebastopol and Bodega Bay, it is a good location for visiting many Sonoma County locations without a long drive. The interior decor is quite pleasing. The best restaurants are closer to downtown, but the old-style diner that is part of the main building has excellent breakfast and lunch offerings.
The Ledson is a traditional house right on the square in Sonoma. Only has six rooms all on the second floor. Very spacious room with marble floors and very ornate and lovely decoration with beautiful big comfortable bed with good quality linen and feather pillows!! Incredibly convenient with parking at the rear. minimal contact with staff apart from cleaner and manager(remotely) but very responsive and helpful.
The bed was amazing, nice big king sized bed with comfy sheets and blankets. The two pastries in the morning were delicious, and we enjoyed them at the kitchen table with coffee (provided) in the common area on second floor. Location was very close to the Sonoma Plaza, like 2 minute car drive, and it was very quiet and secluded. The hostess was very gracious and friendly.
Perfect place to explore Sonoma and Napa Valley. Nice Mercantile with excellent wine shop. Good and interesting Wine Tasting. Great coffee and food for breakfast or lunch.
The cottage is small but perfect for 2 and the terrace in the front was a perfect relaxing space. We also loved the kitchen where we could cook some good stuff from the local farmer markets.
I felt this motel was very good value for money in an expensive area for accommodation, with very friendly and helpful staff. Although a little tired it's nice and bright, clean and well placed for the Sonoma area, the breakfast diner next door is really handy, the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
The breakfasts were delicious. The hotel car available to take us to downtown Sonoma was terrific. Watsu and Kitsu (the masseuse) could not have been better. It was a spiritual experience. I was disappointed that I could not get my aqua facial. Need more and better food choices outside by the pool.
The location was so convenient-just a few minutes from Sonoma Square with all the shops, restaurants & tasting rooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the spacious living area in the evenings and took advantage of the large kitchen in the morning. All the tools and appliances you would need were available!
Cozy place that is quiet, clean and walking distance to Sonoma Square. The hosts were helpful and recommended restaurants and wine tours. Bed was very comfortable. Coffee and pastries delivered to the room each morning was a nice touch!
A perfect setting in Sonoma with a very welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with a nice atmospere. On top of that a great restaurant with a good and wide winelist. A strong 10 out of 10.
Thank you Karen and Larry, amazing hosts. The location is quite good! The house is cozy and private. If you are going to Sonoma, it is a great place to relax after a day of wine tasting.
We loved the quaint style of the property and having breakfast brought to our private terrace was such a treat! Perfect location to explore the wineries in Sonoma. Would stay again 😊
Delicious breakfast good variety lovely coffee. Room very comfortable quiet and 5 minutes walk from Sonoma centre Great location and wine and cheese at 5pm everyday lovely touch
