Walking around the Village of Smithville and browsing in all the shops was very nice and relaxing. There are 3 State parks close by with walking trails or to go bird watching. We had a wonderful dinner at the Smithville Inn the food was great the prices reasonable the atmosphere was great.
Had breakfast at the Village Bakery the food was great and reasonable. Many baked goods to eat or bring home. There is really nothing that I would avoid the next time I visit.

Love the shops.
Love the shops. The restaurants were packed for dinner and the wait was 45 min to an hour and half. With it being the last weekend before Christmas it was understandable. It would be great if there was some outdoor heaters to warm up. Train ride was super sweet. Decorations were wonderful.

Smithville was a wonderful surprise.
Smithville was a wonderful surprise. A unique experience for my teenage grandchildren. They gave up going back to the beach to hang out in the village! We loved the room and our basket of breakfast goodies. Very relaxed and cozy feel to the place. Perfect getaway.

What a great place. i stayed in the “Barn” which is a converted barn made into beautiful rooms located at the back of the property. The rooms were large. After I checked in I was offered free Cookies and coffee. Free breakfast was offered in the morning. Received 10% off coupon for several shoppes located on the property.
Did a late check in and called the innkeeper (Tracy) beforehand and she was super friendly, detailed and accommodating! Gorgeous, spacious rooms in the barn, great value for the room, shared porch to dry out some towels/beach stuff I had. Very comfortable and clean. Bed and breakfast, cozy feel but it was a modern room with great amenities. Booked this last minute to join some friends in LBI 50 mins away, and I would’ve loved to stay longer to explore Smithville. Friends stayed in a lake view room and were also impressed with the room!!
Area was very convenient if you wanted to visit the shops at Smithville. We booked here because according to Booking. Com, the hotel was 11 miles from Long Beach Island. Unfortunately, this was completely inaccurate and we had to travel over 35 miles (about 50 minutes) to the beach and back every day ☹️😠. Otherwise, the place was nice and also very clean.
The owner of this motel was kind and courteous if anything was needed. Parking was a breeze there. The room was comfortable and so was the bed! Place is walking distance from Smithville's shops in their historic village.
Our room at the Village Inn and Suites was clean and comfortable. On-site parking made it easy to unload and load our car.
The motel was in a great location only a few minute's drive to historic Smithville Village.
The staff was very nice and the location is awesome; we walked right down the road to the Smithville Shoppes and if you need a Wawa or CVS that’s in walking distance too.
