There's not a lot to do in Shreveport in mid-March except gamble in the casinos and eat at some good restaurants. They do have some nice parks, an aquarium, and the SciPort science museum with an IMAX theater.

We got to the hotel at 1130.
We got to the hotel at 1130. The bank approved the reservation, but thought the charge out of state, because it bills as Dallas/Shreveport, was fraudulent. By time we got that taken care of it was past 2am. We hotel hopped for a week between Wingate and comped rooms at El Dorado, now Bally's casino. Great facilities and staff. Would of liked to get a weekly rate, but we didn't prepare well.

I liked my view from the window and that the bathroom had a separate walk in shower and a huge garden tub. But we could’ve used more covers and a softer mattress with less noise from the neighbors slamming their doors and I wish that some of the rooms offered microwaves in them so I didn’t have to go downstairs and hand my food to a stranger to warm it.

Shreveport was less than impressive.
Shreveport was less than impressive. Dirty and not very family oriented. I am sure the people that live there know the better places to go and things to do other than casinos but they really fall short on informing visitors.

Enjoyed the visit, but they need to work on getting retail stores in the boardwalk river front. About 85% empty since the panicdemic and not returned. We ate at the Saltgrass and it was very good with friendly staff. Also there are no buffets at any of the casinos, but the restaurant is very good and affordable. Still plenty of sportsbars and clubs trying to come back for nightlife entertainment. If you like antique or thrift stores, there are plenty within 5-10 miles from casinos. Be sure to use your GPS and there won't be a problem getting around town.
So sad, it has great tourist potential for revenue and tax base.
Oh yeah, beware of the $15 a day resort fees, not sure how they justify them. Didn't receive anything special from regular hotels that you have to pay or feel obligated to tip.

I love everything about my city !!!
I love everything about my city !!! My city has shopping, gambling, sights and so much more. Monkhouse Seafood, Nicky's Mexican restaurant and Chili's are my favorite spots. When here visit Pierre Bossier Mall and Mall St. Vincent, excellent shopping centers.
My room was very clean. I was very excited to see no carpet on the floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was right off I-20 so very easy to find. Motel 6 is a no frills motel but very clean and the bed was comfortable. I will stay there again if I need overnight accommodations in Shreveport, LA.
No contact form host for access. Someone living in the house. Wouldn't answer door. Then turned lights off. Called host no answer. Called booking.com. No answer. I know it's Sunday evening but that doesn't help with access to property. Rented hotel and not through booking due to last minute needs
Hampton Inn & Suites Shreveport is our home away from home when visiting relatives in Shreveport. The facilities are always clean, and the staff is accommodating, courteous, and professional. Usually it is me and my wife and we both recommend this excellent hotel.
It's cheap. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Although the service did take awhile on a seemingly slow night, the attendant was friendly. The location is convenient. It's just right off of the interstate. I also love a dog friendly hotel.
Clean room and had plenty of towels for our family. Staff was friendly.
We were glad to see the bathroom bars because my mom has a hard time getting around and this helped her get off the toliet and safely out of the shower.
Location. Value. Surprisingly quiet and clean. Was initially concerned with the cost savings compared to the other hotels in close proximity to this one, but this definitely met my needs for the week.
The room was very large and comfortable. Overall, the staff was pleasant. The facility was pretty clean. I traveled for work as an artist so having an extra large room was great.
Nothing. There was throw up in the hall way. Rooms smelled like mildew and floors were wet. Bathroom still had someone else’s soap in the shower and dirty wash rag.
This was the most disgusting hotel room. We came in very late so I didn’t get a chance to find another room. It was disgusting and the hotel knows it’s dirty.
The staff were so helpful and very friendly, hotel was very clean, our room was very clean and very nice, we will definitely stay here again on a return trip
The room was clean. Great location. Good breakfast and nice staff. This will definitely be my go-to hotel when I'm in town. Would definitely recommend it.
