Consistently comfortable rooms/beds but there was a warm spell and the A/C was not working. Staff placed us in a room at the cool end of the building. While it wasn't too hot while we were in the room at night to sleep, it was still a bit stuffy. Hot water took a really long time to reach the room on the 2nd floor. I understand they plan on a change this year with comfort renovations coming. That should make a difference because it is a quiet hotel with descent breakfast and very reasonable prices.

Beautiful scenery, but the lack of a decent bedroom...
Beautiful scenery, but the lack of a decent bedroom downstairs and no downstairs bath made it difficult to maneuver with a bad knee and could not use the hot tub, also downstairs or get downstairs to the water.
This hotel was amazing. Very clean, comfy beds. Pull out for the kid. Amazing view of the water. Very peaceful and quiet. Cute little gathering room with ice, books and puzzles to share. The little patio area was amazing for drinking your coffee in the morning, and we loved walking the beach during low tide. Lots of interesting to see. Would definitely recommend.
Loved the location, view, room size, and accommodations!! Right off the 101 close enough to Shelton for shopping and perfect take off point to explore further north. Can't wait to go back in the summer and see if we can catch some biolume action!!
The Super 8 is a decent value compared with the Little Creek Casino hotel which is outrageous $$$. Super 8 is a basic motel, pretty clean (not amazingly clean but OK), reasonably comfortable and close to the racetrack which was why we booked.
Super friendly staff and lovely room overlooking Hood Canal. Accommodations are expensive and hard to find near Hoodsport so I was really happy to find this place, which is an excellent value.
Great location near the casino and the towns of Shelton and Olympia.
The views were lovely. The beach front itself was serene and beautiful setting.

The location is close to the freeway and is adequate for our stay, we had about a 5 minute drive to where we wanted to go. Breakfast was basically snacks but it was better than nothing.
Sunrise (and sunset) were amazing! Enjoyed coffee on the balcony before a hike nearby, location is perfect. Clean, comfortable, exceeded my expectations for the price.
Location was beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by forest. Near the water, small trails, and a state park. House was well furnished with a nice kitchen and living room.
