The breakfast was so limited that we left without eating. We are adults and are decades past eating fruit loops which was the only cereal option. I presume that this was because the only other people we saw appeared to be children living there with their mothers. The were very polite and no problem but I felt we were staying in some sort of emergency accommodation.

Saugerties is a quaint sort of town. We found the Village Diner was an excellent place for breakfast. The people were friendly and the food was good! We also bought some pastry at Hudson Valley Desserts which was so good!

The town has a lot of interesting shops, some of which are in historical buildings. There are several cute places to get coffee and espresso drinks. We stayed at the Village Inn and walked to these restaurants: Ohana Cafe, Olsen & Company, Bella Luna, and The Tavern at Diamond Mills.

I love to snowboard at the Hunter mountain. I do avail myself of the opportunity by taking in the scenery, spend some time at the local shops. The atmosphere is peaceful as I am able to clear my head, coming from the city.

It was great almost perfect kids was just not happy cause pool is still close. They were expecting for a fun night in the pool after a day of skiing. They offered the pool at the other hotel but it’s a hassle going out and driving again and too cold to go out and back after swim.

We went to Saugerties to revisit the area that my husband stayed with his family when he was a child. We checked out the Downtown area (great shops and very friendly people). The Inquiring Minds Bookstore & Café was definitely worth a visit. We ate at The Dutch Ale House (great beer, food and atmosphere) and Mirabella's casual sports-bar setting (good food and friendly wait staff). It was interesting to see what changed and what stayed the same since he was there 60 years ago. In addition to Saugerties, we visited Malden on the Hudson and drove to Woodstock (about 10 miles away). This is a great area, very scenic and great mix of old and new.
Our room was ENORMOUS! There was room for a bed, sofa, breakfast bar, desk, kitchenette and a big expanse of space; plus a little lobby for coats and boots. It was very cosy and cute. Right in the middle of beautiful Saugerties, which has many charming places to eat and shop. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, and quick to respond to queries.
It was nice comfortable home for our family to stay in on our vacation to Saugerties to watch our Grandson play baseball with the Stallions .Peaceful Pines is in very quiet & nice neighborhood outside Saugerties. The big backyard & screened in porch was very nice 👌. Thanks for a great stay the Walkers from Indiana👍😁❤️⚾️
We stayed in one of the camps airstreams - the room was awesome, very clean and comfy. The shower was nice and hot + the products were great.
We really liked the clubhouse area and enjoyed chilling by the campfire with a cold beer in the evening. Staff were all really nice and helpful.
Beautiful house just a few minutes outside central Saugerties. The house has been very well preserved and felt like a wonderful little classic escape. The grounds itself are beautiful, and the highlight of the weekend was breakfast on their terrace looking out over the river.
The beauty of the location (waterfall) and the building. A beautiful hotel and a beautiful room. The bathroom was amazing too! Exquisite accommodation! We loved the balcony overlooking the waterfall! The staff was lovely!
Very clean. Had all the amenities we needed for our short stay. Parking, WiFi were included. Location worked out for our purposes. Loved the area breweries, the RiP Van Winkle has great pizza too! Very responsive host.
