I stayed two days at La Quinta, and it was really great!
- I was worried about the noise because the hotel seemed close from the highway, but it was really calm
- The room was spacious & clean
- Breakfast was delicious with enough food choice
- I am not disabled but everything was accessible (lifting equipment for the swimming pool, big elevators, etc.). I travel a lot, and it is not as usual as it should be, so this point deserve to be in my comment.

Nice little town with shops and restaurants. Good public transport (bus) and tourist info at the historic station. Charles M. Schulz museum was very promising and took me 2+ hours. Russian brewery for beer fans.

I liked the location and price and the garden area and pool area that you offered!
I didn’t stay near the garden area but maybe next time!
I do plan to come back and stay again!
The rooms were clean and the grounds were well maintained!
We were both pleasantly surprised when we got there!
I would recommend this hotel to others, because the price was affordable and it seemed safe and convenient and comfortable!
Our favorite spot was Dillon Beach!
Our daughter in law took us there!

We stayed at Hotel E (the renovated historic courthouse)...
We stayed at Hotel E (the renovated historic courthouse) right in the heart of Santa Rosa. Lots of activities within walking distance of a close drive (1/2 hour or less). The hotel was a delightful place to stay. For those not interested in wine tasting, some suggested activities that we did all in 2 1/2 days, 1) Safari West 2) Armstrong Redwood Preserve 3) Occidental (lunch at the Altamont General Store 4) Walk through downtown Sebastopol 5) Visit to the Charles Schultz Museum 6) Lunch (or any meal) at Mo'z right off Court House Square in Santa Rosa 7) Dinner at Ca Bianca 8) A walk around the lake at Spring Lake Regional Park.

Santa Rosa has been called many flattering things all of them well deserved. You get enough sunshine, enough cool coastal air. And there is a lot to do. Definitely if you’re doing an extended stay a value selves of Olivers market, Pacific market, and even Safeway to save money on food. The best restaurants in Sonoma county are the restaurants based around California Cuisine and local ingredients and those can either get pricey, or have odd opening hours.
As far as Safari West is concerned, they are a breeding facility and should be avoided. No true sanctuary breeds big cats or other exotic animals animals in captivity. They’ve also had tragedies there with breeding which is to be expected because exotic animals don’t breed well in captivity as a general rule. There are plenty of exotic animals that need homes breeding. That makes absolutely no sense. So please boycott Safari West.
You’re close to the ocean, you’re close to the forest and so much more. Don’t miss an opportunity to travel to this very beautiful city

Dinner at the Bird and the Bottle in Santa Rosa was very good. Looks like they have several good restaurants, we will probably be back. It's a reasonable distance from the South Bay but you feel like you've gotten away. Last time we went to the Luther Burbank gardens which was very pretty and informative.

The pool area was lovely although there really wasn't poolside service unless specifically ordered. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was a bit spartan, but quite pleasant. And although the hotel is a little bit out of downtown, there are decent restaurants and grocery stores etc. nearby. This hotel was recommended by travellers we had met earlier in our trip, who go there regularly. It was as it had been described, sort of resorty and fun.
Easy to get to, room was clean and comfortable, good breakfast. The room was very quiet, didn't hear noise from neighboring rooms or the floor above. As in most hotels, you do hear the inconsiderate guests who bellow down the halls, apparently forgetting, or not caring, where they are or who hears their conversations. Kudos to the management who were quick to stifle the annoying culprits.
The room was comfortable, with space for a table, desk, refrigerator and microwave, as well as a king-sized bed and television. I appreciated the two bathroom shelves--perfect for toiletries and the after-shower change of clothes. I had stayed at this hotel before and this room was as well-appointed as the other.
Always seem to find the nicest hotels this one is no exception, from the valet Adrian I believe Torres was his last name. Everybody at the desk the the room extremely comfortable and large. I wish I could have stayed more than a few hours. I will definitely be coming back in September.
Lisa was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. She made our check in experience seamless and effortless. She set the tone for the rest of our stay and we found the service to be exemplary. The hotel is modern, well appointed and comfortable. Plus the location is great!
The hotel staff was so kind and helpful! The check-in process was super smooth and we were even able to get into our room a little early! The location had a great connection to the train - a big selling point for us as a car-free couple!
Lovely hotel in the center square. Lots of shops and restaurants and coffee houses close by within walking distance.
Wish are stay had been longer so we could have enjoyed Santa Rosa a bit longer.
The hotel is in a great location. Nearby all amenities of the city (restaurant and big free parking)
The hotel is beautiful and authentic. Room was very clean and staff was welcoming.
Parking was a little tough on the first day as the hotel was busy, so we had to park at the end on the lot, second day was great almost front row. Great walking distance to old town.
I really liked the new remodeled rooms and furniture in the rooms and through out the hotel, I been there years ago before renovation so big improvements which I really liked.
The hotel is cheap and I did not expect much with that rate. The room is a bit small with several furniture crammed. It was clean and the area looks quite nice.
