the breakfast was very good! Our room was good when we finally got it! Booking.com was a joke!! Before we got the room we fought with them because they gave us the wrong room. We asked for a couch, and they gave us a two queen bedroom.
Was very persistent on what we needed! Could not get them to work with us! But the Hotel helped us get things together 3hours later! Will never use Booking. Com again!

Toilet are extremely small and breakfast was over priced. Had yogurt and strawberry and was $13.85? If you have full breakfast then price is ok at best. Wish breakfast was included.!!

The owner is very nice and they have very good house keeper
The Museum was N/C and very informative. The ladies working there were so friendly and warm we did not want to leave. A learning experience about Salina. Across the street is the Cozy Inn, a fun place to get all the little hamburgers you can eat. Very busy and historical. "Best burgers in Kansas", perhaps so! The downtown street, Santa Fe, has been revitalized and is a fun place to stroll and meander. Very updated, try Martinelli's for lunch/dinner. Very reasonably priced also! The hotel is right on Santa Fe and Mulberry, leave your car in the parking lot!

I only stayed one night on a road trip from Indianpolis to Denver. I did not stay in Salina for any reason but convenience. I did like the location/area where the motel was, with resaurants, fast food, gas, liqour stores, other small convenience stores close by.

Salina, KS, was so much more than I expected.
Salina, KS, was so much more than I expected. From its thriving downtown to Indian Rock Park, Lakewood Park, Glenifer, trails, the Arts, Museum, restaurants - highly recommend Martinelli's Little Italy and their top- notch server, Malachai. The Senior Center, the Public Library, CityGo for public transportation, the Police who are present and serving their community, and all the friendly Kansans I met who made me feel welcome and had interesting chats with me. Oh, and the Salvation Army Chapel and its production, by senior citizens, of "Shenanigans at the Blue Pelican Inn". Oh, and the free music I came across at a small bandshell on Friday, May 5, in downtown. I even looked for apartment rentals here because I would enjoy spending my retirement years in Salina. I highly recommend Miss Kitty of Grandstaff Rentals along with Juan who maintains her properties - they are a dynamic duo! Professional and pleasant, and known to enjoy a good laugh or two or three! As you can tell, I highly recommend Salina, KS, as a wonderful place to have an excellent, all-around quality life. Thank you, Salina! Best Regards to All, Elena

To be honest I generally stay in Salina because it is about half way from where I live to Denver which I visit regularly. From Denver it' about half way to Kansas City. I have found some good places to eat, and the people are friendly. But as it's normally an overnight stay for me so I haven't availed myself of it's cultural attractions

Salina is a very small, quiet town.
Salina is a very small, quiet town. Nice to spot to spend the night after driving 10 hours, but not much around. Most restaurants and bars close around 9pm, and a lot of places are closed on Sunday and Monday.

Hello, the staff was very friendly.
Hello, the staff was very friendly. Especially, the morning breakfast lady, I forgot her name. My parents are elderly and she got them their breakfast items and helped them clean up. Above and beyond!
thanks!
AmericInn/Salina was a wonderful stay. We booked online as we were driving in on Hwy 70, and arrived at the hotel approximately 1 hour later. Check in was quick and easy, and our room was ready for us...non-smoking, king bed, large room, and super clean. All the amenities available! Plus a lovely breakfast in the morning with several hot and cold options! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Total comfort and a great stay!
The manager was very nice & friendly. I booked through Booking.com & got a good rate. Pet friendly but they do charge $10 a day per pet. Mine are housebroken & very well mannered but still had to pay this. This is not a 5 star motel but would stay there again. Good for the price.
This is the nicest motel room I have ever stayed in! Lots of big furniture including work desk and fridge! Furnishings were comfy home instead of cheap motel and the check in/out process is so easy! This is my place to stay in Salina, I can’t imagine a better value for money.
I liked the breakfast and the parking lot had cameras which should be mentioned to new guests. Downtown Salina offered nice restaurants and we chose the Jamaican one and had a wonderful meal. We did a short hike along the river to stretch our legs and it was very scenic.
The Breakfast was terrible. They had somthing that looked like a flat egg patty that tasted like cardboard. There was that and only a biscuit with some gravy available to eat. No sausage or bacon!!! Worst I've every had at a hotel. I threw it away after a few bites
great stay, clean, comfortable, hot breakfast eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, great coffee, wonderful shower not a sprinkle can but good shower head. Nice flat screen TV, pet friendly, no masks yes, Braums Ice Cream 100 ft away.
Awesome amenities, great staff, wonderfully kept hotel with lots of options. Love starbucks on site and the courtyard area. Beer available to purchase from the front vending. Kids loved the pool and the room was very spacious!
We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the new accommodations having all of the creature comforts we've become used to. We'll definitely make Best Inn Motel in Salina our stopover when we travel to points East again!
I was very surprised at how clean and nice it was for a Super 8. For some reason I had felt like those were a cheaper hotel. Our room seemed really clean! It was a very convenient location also, just right off the interstate.
I always stay at this hotel when in Salina. The employees are very friendly, the breakfast is good, it's clean, and very easy to get to. You feel like the employees appreciate that you're staying with them, and your business.
Breakfast was late & not much of it. Not like other hotels you own.
Location seems to be run down, driveway is in disrepair. Dog shit in the back area. Just seem like the property is in need of help from corporate.
They took in my request for room looking at parking lot and placed me close to exit door so I had easy acsess to my show car I was driving for Salina car show.
