    We loved St Augustine!

We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!

Of all the places I've visited in the US, St.

Of all the places I've visited in the US, St. Augustine was by far my favourite. It was absolutely beautiful--incredible historical buildings, lots of local owned and operated businesses selling interesting and unique things, the people were incredibly kind, the weather was great. It was very easy to get around as well--you could walk around town without much difficulty. There were also a lot of wonderful historical sites and museums--the Medieval Torture Museum was excellent and a lot of fun, and the staff were very friendly. Additionally, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park made for a fantastic day out. Prehistoric St. Augustine was also a highlight of the trip! I cannot recommend visiting enough. That being said, one negative to visiting was definitely the water--it had a very unpleasant taste and even smell when showering. Bottled water is definitely the way to go unfortunately.

What a great place to visit!

What a great place to visit! There’s so much history and then so many great places to eat and shop. Bring your walking shoes……the best way to get around! Take the trolley for an informative and fun overview of the city! Don’t miss the fort(Castillo de San Marcos)and consider Fort Matanzas nearby. Flagler (Hotel Ponce de Leon) is a must! It’s an easy city to get around and things are close. Before you go spend some time online exploring. A week here would be fantastic but 3-4 days would work. We only had 2days…….not enough! Can’t wait to go back!

Loved St. Augustine. So much history & so much to do!

Loved St. Augustine. So much history & so much to do! Tours, museums, water sports, great restaurants, all in walking distance to each other. Weekends during peak season a little crazy. As a retired health care worker, I enjoyed the Spanish Military Hospital museum. Also enjoyed the candy factory tour. Of course, the Castillo was great. Dinner at Harry’s was awesome. Trolley tour was nice to get the lay of the land & worked well while it rained. They even passed out decent ponchos. Kilwin’s ice cream hit the spot on the one hot day.

The Trolley Tour was informative and highly recommended to...

The Trolley Tour was informative and highly recommended to learn about the historic area. The town is very touristy with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The sunset Schooner Harbor Cruise is very nice for a change of pace. The Old Fort is worth a visit and the Ponce DeLeon property is interesting. The lighthouse is also another thing to take in on your visit. Great places to eat are the Lobster Roll Restaurant, the Columbia Restaurant and the pizza place on historic St. George Street. Visit the Harbor area, Flagler College, the Bridge of Lions, Vilano Beach and the Anastasia retail/lodging main road. Take some time and really enjoy all that St. Augustine has to offer!

Hotel was great. Clean, comfortable, and excellently located. Staff was very flexible. We were three families travelling together and they accommodated us next to each other. We arrived quite late in the evening with hungry children, and they facilitated to us contact details for a pizza place and allowed us to use the hotel lobby to eat it. Location was excellent, just a short walk away from the centre of St. Augustine. Would definitely stay there again!

Parking lot was a pain especially with all the trucks sticking out and pretty much blocking the exit. Had to park elsewhere, beds were okay, a little stiffer than I would prefer but nice. Room was very clean and a lot more nice than expected. Still a little expensive but a lot affordable than any other place especially for the weekend. Location is okay, still not too far from downtown St. Augustine. The staff were super friendly and considerate

Sunny and Roma were excellent hosts. Their personalities were friendly and informative. The breakfast was excellent every morning and prepared with the utmost care. They always asked questions to see if there were any foods you were allergic to before they cooked. The location was outstanding relative to the Historic District of St. Augustine. It took just a few minutes to walk there.

The condo was comfortable, clean, and well furnished. Everything was in working order. The thermostat was a little difficult to manage, but figured it out. The location offers nearby beaches off A1A and is a short 20 minute drive or so into the center of St. Augustine. The bridge into St. Augustine was pretty congested on Saturday. We were happy with our stay!

The location is excellent for those wishing to stay in the St. Augustine Historic District. The room is comfortable and well designed to provide a cooking area, refrigerator and closet. Although having to walk to park the vehicle ($20.00 per day) was a minus, the venue as a whole is excellent.
