Nice place to stay, free breakfast and martini each day you stay. Great location. Our waiters Joe and Hungarian guy were exceptional. Very attentive and informative of the town.
However; I could not wash my hair due to lack of water pressure in the sprinkler shower. I have thick hair. It would take an hour for me to rinse the soap out of it. The water was warm and not hot. I would also suggest to assign someone to fill the coffee kuregs for guest in am and at evening coffee. I had to ask every time, about 9 times to have someone get me some water to make a cup of coffee. Would love to see a small refrigerator in the room. Had to throw away expensive leftovers from restaurants and unable to keep a cold drink for evening time.

We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!

Of all the places I've visited in the US, St.
Of all the places I've visited in the US, St. Augustine was by far my favourite. It was absolutely beautiful--incredible historical buildings, lots of local owned and operated businesses selling interesting and unique things, the people were incredibly kind, the weather was great. It was very easy to get around as well--you could walk around town without much difficulty.
There were also a lot of wonderful historical sites and museums--the Medieval Torture Museum was excellent and a lot of fun, and the staff were very friendly. Additionally, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park made for a fantastic day out. Prehistoric St. Augustine was also a highlight of the trip!
I cannot recommend visiting enough.
That being said, one negative to visiting was definitely the water--it had a very unpleasant taste and even smell when showering. Bottled water is definitely the way to go unfortunately.

What a great place to visit!
What a great place to visit! There’s so much history and then so many great places to eat and shop. Bring your walking shoes……the best way to get around! Take the trolley for an informative and fun overview of the city! Don’t miss the fort(Castillo de San Marcos)and consider Fort Matanzas nearby. Flagler (Hotel Ponce de Leon) is a must! It’s an easy city to get around and things are close. Before you go spend some time online exploring. A week here would be fantastic but 3-4 days would work. We only had 2days…….not enough! Can’t wait to go back!

Loved St. Augustine. So much history & so much to do!
Loved St. Augustine. So much history & so much to do! Tours, museums, water sports, great restaurants, all in walking distance to each other. Weekends during peak season a little crazy. As a retired health care worker, I enjoyed the Spanish Military Hospital museum. Also enjoyed the candy factory tour. Of course, the Castillo was great. Dinner at Harry’s was awesome. Trolley tour was nice to get the lay of the land & worked well while it rained. They even passed out decent ponchos. Kilwin’s ice cream hit the spot on the one hot day.

The Trolley Tour was informative and highly recommended to learn about the historic area. The town is very touristy with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The sunset Schooner Harbor Cruise is very nice for a change of pace. The Old Fort is worth a visit and the Ponce DeLeon property is interesting. The lighthouse is also another thing to take in on your visit. Great places to eat are the Lobster Roll Restaurant, the Columbia Restaurant and the pizza place on historic St. George Street. Visit the Harbor area, Flagler College, the Bridge of Lions, Vilano Beach and the Anastasia retail/lodging main road.
Take some time and really enjoy all that St. Augustine has to offer!
Extremely friendly, nice and helpful hosts. The breakfast included in the price was fantastic! The room was furnished in charming old Florida style (as is the whole house), with refrigerator, TV, and free WiFi. We were provided free parking in the garage behind the house. The home is situated in a quiet, beautiful and perfect location, with only short walking distance from historic district and many tourist points of interest. We explored St Augustine entirely by foot and enjoyed every moment of our stay at the historic Sevilla House.
The look of the hotel was lovely, but our expectations were dashed when we encountered the check in staff member. She was extremely unfriendly, wouldn't speak, as we interrupted her dinner, she made us wait while she finished it off. Then begrudgingly walked to behind the counter to check us in. She wouldn't answer any questions and never made eye contact, basically threw us the key cards. Then walked back around, helped herself to a soda from the hotel and sat back down in the guest area to watch tv.
The room was adequate.
The hotel was new and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If the location was in the historic district then it was on the far northern edge. It’s about 1.5 miles to the old fort and 2 miles to the Ponce de Leon memorial at Cathedral Plaza. Breakfast was good but not great. The bed was a little firm for my tastes but the room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable. Parking was very good. I would rate this an 8.5 and an excellent value.
Always such an amazing stay. We travel every year from Indiana to visit St. Augustine and this will always be our go to hotel. If booked enough in advance you can get amazing prices especially during summer months. Close drive to downtown historic saint Augustine as well as vilano beach. Conveniently close to the saint Augustine outlet malls as well. Perfect spot to stay for the perfect city to visit.
The breakfast was very nice, and we enjoyed our room very much. Although we weren't traveling with our dog, we really like that the inn is pet friendly. We plan to stay with you during our next visit to St. Augustine. We also like that you provide shuttle service. That's a huge plus because of the parking situation downtown. We had a wonderful stay with you! Thank you!!
The location is good, it is close to the historic center (downtown), but you will need a car to get around. The accommodation is comfortable, very clean, and employees are willing to help. The shower is very nice, and this is something that I value when I choose a hotel. I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay in if I ever go back to St. Augustine again.
The location is excellent for those wishing to stay in the St. Augustine Historic District. The room is comfortable and well designed to provide a cooking area, refrigerator and closet. Although having to walk to park the vehicle ($20.00 per day) was a minus, the venue as a whole is excellent.
Top-notch, unique oasis of peace and quiet in St. Augustine’s historic district. Rooms are a fun blend of luxury and quirkiness. Staff, especially Kate in The Well bar and Jamie at Reception, are very personable. So much character and worth the cost. The bed was very comfortable.
This was my third time staying in St. Augustine and this hotel has been the best one so far. The staff were very friendly. The room and bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the breakfast was the best one I've ever had at any hote. All for just $100/night!
The location was quite close, probably about a ten minute walk to cross the bridge and get to where the historic district is. There are also some cute spots nearby like a craft beer and grilled cheese arcade. The hotel overall was clean and staff was friendly.
The room was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the free breakfast...very delicious! We also enjoyed a walk on Vilano beach and took many beautiful pictures. We were very impressed with Hyatt Place and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
There is no better location than Hemingway House and Inn on Charlotte if downtown St. Augustine is your destination. Great value, quaint historic inn, excellent complimentary breakfast with table service, parking, and comfortable clean rooms.
Great location, two blocks from fountain of youth and access to St. Augustine tour bus. Centrally located providing short distance walking to all of beautiful downtown St. Augustine attractions.. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.
The hotel staff - especially the front desk people - are really terrific! The location of the hotel to the historic district of St. Augustine is perfect. The morning breakfast was well done - very enjoyable.
