A beautiful property, everything was perfect, the owner and staff were extremely accommodating. We stayed in 2 of the rooms as we liked it so much we stayed an extra night.
This Rockport motel is 1640 feet away from Bearskin Neck. The Eagle House Motel is 1148 feet from Front Beach and views of it can be seen from some sun terraces.

Had a pleasant stay here; spacious room, very close to train station, beach, and the town. Room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and cupboards. There is an outdoor common area with seating in relaxing surroundings. If you have questions or need anything, contact Gary. He’s very helpful.

The location of this hotel is so perfect! Right on the ocean, it was beautiful to wake up and sit on the patio and watch the surfers and listen to the ocean. The hotel is very cozy and gives older costal colonial vibes. I felt like I was staying at my grandparents summer beach house. The staff was so nice, parking was easy, and it’s a close drive to Salem and Rockport where you can explore cute little shops and restaurants. The only thing I wasn’t expecting is that you don’t have a private balcony, it’s just open to anyone to walk by. I was hoping to sleep with the patio door open and listen to the ocean at night, but anyone could walk by your patio door. Also, the walls are thin, so you can hear the neighbors or guests outside, but it was pretty quiet while we were there, even though it seemed there where a lot of visitors staying at the hotel. It’s nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfy, and really fit the old Massachusetts costal vibes we were hoping for. It met all of my expectations and we really enjoyed our stay!

Smaller, more intimate than Gloucester, but still accessible to Boston by commuter rail. Large selection of local artisan wares. Managed to snag a reservation at My Place By the Sea. Would revisit but not before also trying places more frequented by locals.

A charming town with much to see and do in and around the town. Excellent food options. We especially loved the lobster rolls and fries at Bearskin Neck Bistro and the donuts at the Brothers Cafe. Shalin Liu Performance Center and the Paper House were two places not to miss. And you can't leave Rockport without seeing Motif #1.

Loved - quaint downtown, views, coastal walks.
Loved - quaint downtown, views, coastal walks.
Didn’t like - no parking at Long Beach and other beaches near there except for pricey and overfilled private lots. Next time I’ll be bringing my bike to avoid the traffic and parking.
Restaurant hours are limited. Every place is booked solid or closed.

There are seafood places to eat every where with water views. The only downfall is the traffic during the summer. I probably wouldn't go again until just after Labor day, but I would definitley go back again. Ate at Mile Marker 1 and Seaport Grille which had awesome food. Pricey, but good. Well worth it!

The Seafarer is an immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming inn. The room was spacious with a wonderful foam mattress and a small kitchenette. The public spaces are comfortable and inviting. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and varied.
Breakfast was amazing - the buffet had many options, and the owners Beth and Chris also catered to my son's allergy needs and prepared a special something for him during our stay. They also checked on our comfort, and rooms were well equipped with everything you need and find in a full services hotel room. The Long Island room we were in had a wonderful view of the ocean. Highly recommend this inn. And the Koi pond was fascinating. We will definitely revisit!
The location is excellent right across the bay. The Cove has been renovated with very nice features- such as a large beautifully tiled shower, quaint little bathroom with a beautifully appointed bedroom with lovely coastal decor. Rockport is a charming little town with a beautiful auditorium where we listened to a flutist/piano lovely duo practice with a beautiful view of the ocean as a backdrop.
We will definitely be back to stay at The Cove at Rockport!
It has great potential to be great, it needs some work. The lobby was really nice. The free breakfast is okay, very minimal choices-no cereals, pancakes or eggs. It is packaged muffins, bagels, yogurts, etc., kids like it. There is an indoor pool and convenient when it rains and something to do at night with kids. There is a fire pit. This is a hotel that kids will really like.
Nice variety at breakfast, shared table with friendly tourists. Very close to the main places of interest in Rockport. Host was very knowledgeable about the region, restaurants, etc. Rockport is not far from other points of interest in the larger area as well. We enjoyed the verandah - a pleasant place to read and watch the world go by.
And, we enjoyed Emmie and Libby, too!
The owners of this lovely B&B were incredibly friendly, responsive, and informative. Their B&B was in a terrific location with just a few minutes walk to the center of Rockport. My room was super-clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and to have coffee, tea and a small fridge was an added plus.
I would most definitely stay here again!
Richard was an excellent host and very knowledgeable about the area. He gave us suggestions for things to visit during our stay. We booked here because we wanted to visit Salem, but we ended up falling in love with Rockport. We can't wait to go back again and Lantana will be our #1 choice for our accommodations.
Second time staying at this beautiful boutique hotel. Marshall is very sweet and knowledgeable and the hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Everything you need is in your room. The bed just envelops you and the location is spectacular. A must stay when in Rockport ❤️
Liked that the room faced out to the water. Left windows open to be able to fall asleep to the sound of the surf. A balcony area to sit out with a cocktail or morning coffee. Excellent location in Rockport, walk to shops, restaurants. Friendly, accommodating proprietor.
Beautiful designed rooms, make you feel cosy and welcome.
Very good breakfast, served discretely at our door in the morning, great coffee.
Perfect location! Quiet neighborhood, but short walk distance to Rockport Marina.
I'm already planning our next visit!
The view was wonderful and inspiring, very relaxing! You can’t beat the breakfast, outstanding.
We would have liked to have more information on things to do in the area. We were not aware of any special services offered by the hotel.
This Guest House is perfection. Everything is so well thought out. The furnishings and decoration alone, are a feast for the eyes. We would return in a heartbeat. We also loved Rockport.
Helen and Dan are great host. This is a great B&B to spend few days in Rockport. Rooms is very nice and breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend ecommend the place.
Close to downtown Rockport.
We were staying for our Anniversary, when we arrived we were given a beautiful vase of Roses and a box of locally made chocolates.
Cute New England hotel. Comfortable beds. Clean and safe. Walking distance to downtown Rockport The tables and chairs outside by each room is a nice touch.
