Rennsselaer was easy to get on and off highway from downtown Albany. Recovery Sports Bar and Tipsy Moose Pub both great food and cold beer. excellent Rail Trail and walking paths near by. Near Albany Court House recently installed figures throughout are beautiful. nice clean area
The hotel has a magnificent view of the city of Albany during daytime and nighttime! the parking was easy. The breakfast options were good as a vegetarian, I could choose to eat oatmeal and the white egg omelet with vegetables, yogurt. For coffee, I appreciated the Almond milk for it. Even the coffee was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The renovation makes the decoration look up to date. Nice.
There was no breakfast the hotel smelled awful the room I booked wasn't what I asked for there were no elevators and the hotel was very dirty not a clean area anywhere air freshener was sprayed all over to cover yo mask the odors didn't stay went somewhere else
We often stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotels because we know we will get consistent quality and comfort and this hotel was the same. The front desk was very accommodating for the senior travellers in our group which was much appreciated.
The nonsmoking room was surprisingly free from smoke smell. There is a mini hotel in back of motel-looking part that was acceptable for the cost. Housekeeping was consistent to keep room clean and beds made.
The booking process was easy. The staff were friendly and prompt. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. It’s located on the main road and close to nearby conveniences.
