The hotel looked really nice and we loved the full size queen beds. Everything was clean and smelled good. The secure access points were convenient for our family to get in and out with ease with luggage. The water pressure was great and the water was readily warm/hot when we needed it to be. There were enough pillows for us to get really comfortable and the bedding was warm but not too warm. The breakfast was good and the location of this La Quinta was perfect for us. It felt very safe and secure, outside to inside. Fully fenced in the back and the front is surrounded by businesses and fencing that would not make it easy for anyone wandering crime to go unnoticed. The pool and hot tub looked amazing but we didn’t get to enjoy it this go round. If you are traveling through this location on the way to somewhere else and need good, healthy food options it is also pretty close to some good options in De Soto itself.

Breakfast was Ok; Location was far from Airport or Downtown, making it quite costlier with Taxi only choice.
Conveniently located off Interstate 35 in Waxahachie, this motel features a 24-hour front desk and free wireless internet access.

The absolute worst place I've ever stayed. Staff was rude (the are all family),even had children underage working here. TV did not work, sheets were stained with cigarette hole burns in them. Towels were gross, stained. Toilet was disgusting, refrigerator was leaking water all over the floor. The 2nd bed didn't even have bedding upon arrival. Different color hairs all over the bed, stains on pillows. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! I slept in my clothes and shoes
The Comfort Suites hotel is located near many area attractions. The Texas Motorplex racetrack and Scarborough Renaissance Festival are five miles from this hotel.

Town was nice -kind of tricky getting on and off freeway and one way side roads. Will never stay at the Motel 6 again. After we were there several people said that it wasnt a good place to stay- pictures were not accurate and up to date of premises.

This is a great facility.
This is a great facility. We were there to help family with their business as volunteers so spent very little time in our room except to sleep and shower. There were plenty of fast food restaurants and a Starbucks nearby. Getting around Red Oak was quite easy. The only problem was that Google Maps was inaccurate on directions. The facility is on the Northbound Service Road, just north of the Red Oak Exit and you have to proceed through a light just east of the highway to turn onto the north bound access road when arriving from the North (southbound). And avoid Google's directions to take the road a little way north of this facility to go east to Highway 342. Instead take the main road through Red Oak, Highway 664/E. Ovilla Rd., east to Highway 342. It's quick, easy, and a great road. Also, we used booking.com for our reservations and it was a great experience as well. Red Oak, TX is a very nice town, too. Enjoy your stay! We sure did.

Red oak was fine. First time staying here.
Red oak was fine. First time staying here. It was more pricey than Dallas but close to a lot of things you would need! I would definitely come back . Came for a wedding in Waxahachie, TX , this hotel was the right fit in distance just for this location. I ate at bone daddy’s bbq , pappadeaux seafood restaurant, wing stop and fuel city.. I went to Walmart, target, a outlet mall, 2regular malls, liquor depot, the wedding I attended was an outdoor one at the willow creek event center.
Not what I was expecting especially from the pictures. Honestly felt like I was at some cheap motel. Room was not at all what we expected holes in the walls shower rod falling off. Didn’t fee
Clean. We were asked if we wanted our beds made and towels replaced we said yes and never happened came back
That night to dirty room and everything still the same
Would not recommend this location at all.
What I liked was the staff was very friendly, it was quiet with minimal noise every now and then. The location was fantastic for where we were going. The hotel is close to restaurants, gas stations, Walmart, grocery store and right off the freeway.
I was disappointed. There was no attendant in the breakfast area and no explanation of where food, drinks were, related to that I had 2 dry, packaged danish rolls and a cup of tea. A guest of the hotel let me know where the danish were located.
Not good at the pictures that was on line did not match the the hotel at all uncomfortable sleep next door to a truck stop.cant sleep because of the trucks running. Just not good at all
