Location, location, location. The river view was spectacular - sunrise over the river on the one day the weather was nice - and the cantilevered windows were PERFECT for the cold breeze and listening to the storms during most of my stay. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Red Bank, if you felt like eating off property (the food in the hotel, at Pearl, was excellent - but be prepared for a wait - and wait staff were not particularly good…

In general the hotel was good. But the main reason one gets a hotel is to sleep away from home. We couldn't sleep. There were kids playing basketball outside our room and the exterior walls did nothing to dampen the noise. I waited from 8PM till 10PM before calling the front desk. Even then the front desk was unwilling to ask the kids to stop playing basketball.

Red Bank is home to a lot of excellent restaurants, and you can even ditch the car and arrive by boat if you like. Red Bank is walk-able, and if shopping is your thing you won't be disappointed. If music and performing arts interests you, the Count Basie Theatre is considered one of the premier venues for live events, and the acoustics are incredible.

Very quaint little town on the river.
Very quaint little town on the river. Got to see John Bon Jovi's restaurant on Monmouth street near the end of the street called 'JBJ Soul Kitchen'. We were there too early on a Sunday to eat there but looks like a great place to dine. No bill...it's by donation only. Very limited hours though. Staff are very friendly and enjoy chatting. Many great little spots to dine. Very touristy!

Love coming to Red Bank for a quiet, relaxing weekend!!
Love coming to Red Bank for a quiet, relaxing weekend!! I ate dinner & breakfast at Ce'LaVie, on Monmouth Street...simply delicious!!! Also shopped at Earth Spirit, one of my favorite places to visit!! Loving the new bakery, Alfonso's!!
Getting around Red Bank is quite easy!! Also, if you need a trip to the mall, The Monmouth Mall is easily accessable from Rt.35....

It looked quaint from the outside but it really is dated in the inside, especially the bedrooms. One or two of the staff weren’t too nice but the majority were great. Our first room was terrible and the receptionist on duty refused to change it, even though the hotel wasn’t that busy. Thankfully the receptionist on duty the following day changed rooms for us.
I like the fact that there was a light breakfast available daily & the location was great for me because it made it getting to major shopping areas & appointments much easier. I also loved the comfortability of the room, specifically the bed & shower because I am disabled and it allowed me to sleep & clean comfortably without worrying about falling.
The food at the restaurant was amazing! We ate on the patio both nights. The 1st night the room on the far end of the hall was perfect and the 2nd night the (a/c unit above our room on the roof)? made an awful loud noise and the hotel was booked solid so we couldn’t get a different room. Overall, it was beautiful and convenient!
Disappointed that there was really NO full breakfast in your facility, muffins and bagels DON"T count. We were unfamiliar with the area and had to drive around to find a place to have a proper breakfast.
The location was great because it’s in an upscale town and the hotel sits on the beautiful Navesink River. The staff was pleasant, helpful and attentive.
