make sure you request the room you want to be in. golf carts is a must to get around. Mojhto Bay bar is awsome. Frosty is a great place to eat. The Goat has great steaks. Most places are just seafood.

Good food at some great restaurants.

Good food at some great restaurants. Nice time with family for a casual couple day trip. Easy to get around island, although golf cart can be pricey. Bring your walking shoes. If you're looking for more laid back, recommend going on weekdays as things get a little crazy on the weekends.

Sometimes the less said the better, not cheap, Property is lacking needed update! Dirty, in the heart of loud music noise till 2:00 AM. Drinking and loud conversation outside the rooms sometimes rowdy gathering of drunken guests!!

Overall not super impressed, payed almost $900 for my stay...

Overall not super impressed, payed almost $900 for my stay and our shower would soak our bathroom floor because of the shower curtain. We didn't have a microwave in the room. We weren't allowed to park our golf cart on their property. Also they barely have any parking. I walked 40 mins to pick up my golf cart rental so I wouldn't have to worry about finding parking for my car again, it took like 20 minutes the first time to find parking. Also they only have breakfast on weekdays, and we didn't really have any form of protein at our breakfast. It was mostly cereal, bread for toast, begals muffins, and cheap danishes. Staff was overall friendly, but they preferred talking amongst themselves overall. I probably will not stay here again.

When we booked our trip the site never said that most...

When we booked our trip the site never said that most businesses were closed for the season. We had never been to Put In Bay, and we were mot aware of this, and the website leads you to believe everything is open. There was nothing to do during our stay after the first day. It was very cold, we took a golf cart to visit what businesses were open. Leaving the island to try to find something to do, was not possible. The ferry on our 2nd day (Tuesday) stopped running at 11:30a.m. leaving us virtually nothing to do, we still had 2 days left in our stay, and we would have been stuck there. We asked the hotel if we could get a refund for the 2 days we had left, the girl working the desk said there was nothing she could do we would have to go thru booking.com. We contacted Booking.com and they said they couldn't do anything, that we would have to go thru the hotel. Very unprofessional to give us the run around, they had no desire to help us. We decided to leave anyway because we did not want to be stuck on the island. Very poor Customer Service experience. Also, very misleading website doesn't say businesses were closed for the season, and still doesn't. Hotel room was not clean, and looked nothing like the pictures online. Definitely do not recommend Put In Bay Resort and Conference center, it was dirty and staff very unfriendly. We will never stay here again.

It was a perfect family/friend destination.

It was a perfect family/friend destination. Not overly commercialized. Things to do for all ages. We visited Moss Bach, Hooligans and The Reel Bar - all of them had wonderful food and great staff. We did drive over but the golf carts were more fun and easier to get around in Love the ferry ride.
