I am generally a fan of Marriott, and have been to this property before and enjoyed it. It is in a very convenient location, and has valet parking, and the the restaurant has water views. It is a short walk to all the attractions in downtown.

Visited a relative. The location was convenient for shopping, gas and other services rather than in downtown Newport. Especially liked the that the hotel was pet friendly. The back yard was large enough for the dog to stretch. All in all a good experience!!!
