Nice, but one and done unless a local, or able to shop for groceries, cook in kitchen(ette), stay at a favorite timeshare, etc., and find truly appealing coastal fresh seafood at reasonable prices. Food quality so-so, although many truly dog-friendly eating establishments truly welcoming.

Everywhere we ate or had drinks and coffee was excellent! Our favorite restaurant was MacDaddys. We rented a golf cart to drive along the beautiful, well kept beach. We went during the week when nothing was crowded.

Mickey's Bar and Grill in Aransas Pass has great food that was not expensive. Enjoyed sitting on the canal watching boats pass. Excellent waitress.
In Port A Virginia's on the Beach has excellent lunch specials. Surprisingly, Seafood and Spaghetti Works was great. Excellent clam chowder and salad. For breakfast Island Cafe is reasonable and the wait staff were great! Coach's Island Grill has a $5.00 breakfast, order the hashbrowns.

We love being able to drive on the beach, set up camp right...
We love being able to drive on the beach, set up camp right at the water's edge, and the availability of portable restrooms all down the beach as well as trash receptacles. The beaches are maintained well by the city. There was adequate police presence patroling the beach and handling issues that arose. We love the restaurants and the variety of accomodations. We will continue to visit as often as possible.

Love Port Aransas. Come down often for a relaxing fun stay. I have never been disappointed with any place I have booked here and I cant say enough about how fun and welcoming it is. So many restaurants and bars to visit and love that I can use the golf cart anywhere and never have to get in my car the entire stays.

Need more of a wider variety of restaurants and coffee shops. Activities for teens and teenagers. Dolphins watch was incredible. Top restaurants in my book would be the spaghetti and seafood place. Beach was clean . Lelos was fantastic best burger in town. Candy store was great. Gelato ice cream fantastic. Just need more to do then just the beach and if your paying to go to the beach then you shouldn't have to have a fishing license. Overall great visit. Went to Corpus and they had alot more attractions.

It was me, my daughter and a niece aged 12 and 8, the day was cold and the heated pool at 90° saved the day. The location is excellent, close to everything we needed and very close to the beach. The beds are very comfortable and the smell is very good, the room is very clean. Good breakfast. Excellent check-in service, very helpful and friendly staff.
The Room was very large and very comfortable for the price. The Beds are a little dated, but for the weekend and so close to the beach it was not a big deal. The Kitchen was very nice and everything was clean.
