It is a clean and friendly town and full of history.
It is a clean and friendly town and full of history. We were there for a family reunion but it would be a nice stopover for anyone. They have a lovely town square surrounding their court house and a nice museum. Don's Steakhouse has great burgers. There are five rivers in the area which is nice for swimming, floating, or fishing.

Have had family in the Pocahontas area for over 100 years so this area though not a tourist area has special meaning for us. Not a lot to do but for just being in a quiet and peaceful place a great place to visit.
