Plano is very comfortable everyone everywhere had a very pleasent attitude. I experienced many multicultural places. Traffic was big city traffic so you will spend time driving. All food was excellent. If you get a chance go to Kenny's Burger Joint. And Daisy's. Also check out the Asian and Indian grocery and accessories stores in the area

Plano is located less than 10 miles outside of Dallas, and is easy-traveling distance to both Love Field and DFW Airports. As with many suburbs in America, there are many local and chain restaurants, a WalMart, Target, and grocery stores. According to James, a fab Uber driver, Plano is one of the better burbs near Dallas to offer share-rides.
What's even better is there are fun things to do in and around Plano as well as the proximity to Dallas. Popping downtown for a meeting, dinner, or drinks is easy. Happily, if you are entrenched at the Cambria, just about any food or drink delivery service you can think of do, in fact, delivery in Plano. Good if you want to avoid the heavy traffic around the area. An interesting FYI, the locals say Plano is in a bubble as it rarely rains in Plano but will instead rain in McKinney and the areas around while Plano stays dry much of the time. Enjoy your time in Plano. Wonderful people and shops.

Plano is a great city… Red Roof Inn of Plano is a disgrace to the entire state of TEXAS!!!! How can a non-smoking room smell like stale cigarettes?? But you’re charging a fee for deposit ? How can a room with no fridge or microwave have a deposit ? How can a room with filthy linen charge a deposit fee ? I mean FILTHY , BURN HOLES, Permanent Stains I kept rolling them back to see if something was clean, to no avail. The floors are filthy…. Etc. I’m confused on the deposits purpose. What was of value in the room ???

The only comfy beds are the queen and king bedrooms. Don't get double beds. They're too firm. The rooms had recent furniture upgrades.also request new covers on check in. They aren't changed between guests unless requested.
The front desk staff were nice.
There were problems with the room:
The street noise was too loud and made it difficult to talk or sleep.
The floor and room actually was vibrating when some machinery started, probably the air conditioner of a room close to our, #247.
The bathroom door was filthy, needed to be mopped clean.
The outside hall, elevator entrance and inside the elevator was filthy, and was not vacuumed during the three days we were there.
We travel often, but we will not book this hotel again.
Everything was great but the rooms were way too loud. At night we couldn’t sleep well because the walls were so thin that I could hear the people next to my room also there were some dogs barking.
My room was the first floor and the laundry room was on top of my room so I could also hear the washers going on and on until late.

Great location, easy to find. The parking lot had a lot of lighting and easy access to the hotel itself. The front staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in almost 2 hours early. Super clean facilities. Rooms were a great size and beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here again.
