They Charge 100.00$ Sucurity Deposit and it is going to take 2 to 5 Days to back on Card. Very Annoying that they do this. No other Motel or Hotel in Pismo do this. Not Happy. P

Everything was perfect. We stayed for our 38th anniversary. Staff and atmosphere couldn't have been better. Even our Seagull that came to our door at 7am was great. I named him Harry lol. I can't wait to stay there again.

A renovated Motel 6 that overlooks a dirt parking lot. The location is great in downtown Pismo and the rooms are updated and clean. I would much rather stay next door at the Inn At The Pier with ocean views. The Beachcomber shoud be half the price of the Inn At The Pier for what you get.

I grew up going on family vacations to Pismo Beach so I am biased. Probably the best kept secret of the California coast. Beautiful wide beaches, great restaurants, wine country a 10 minute drive from the beach and lots of other cute little coastal towns to explore for a day trip. You could spend all week laying on the beach or going someplace new every day. And nothing beats a Pismo Sunset!

Pismo Beach was nice, but the Edgewater hotel was too crowded, the parking was really crammed, and the area looked a little scary. I thought it would be nicer. The bed was very lumpy and lopsided and uncomfortable.
If things go wrong and you don’t arrive early enough and miss most of your first night, don’t expect any niceness from the hotel staff and getting a late check out like you would at other hotels. They do not care!

North Pismo Beach, including Shell Beach Cove area, and Avila Beach (just north of Pismo) are very nice for walking and sightseeing. Avila Beach has a very long interesting history. Downtown Pismo traffic was bad and the old town area might seem "funky" classic beach to some.

Love the beach and pier, small downtown with shops, easy access from highway.
It's also 10-15 minutes from Avila Beach, Madonna Inn, and San Luis Obispo. It's 50 minutes from Solvang. Paso Robles (with Sensorio) are also pretty close. Morro Bay and Montana de Oro park with cool hikes are around 40 minutes away. It's just a great location to get some beach views and explore the area.

This is a charming little town with lots of shops and restaurants right at the beach. I'd say that there's enough to do downtown in one day, and then another day you can explore explore nearby. a weekend is perfect.
Because we stayed at the Pismo Beach hotel. We would go out how breakfast at the cafe. Right next door walk around and look at the shops. Go to the beach, call my quebec to the hotel rest and then go back out to try one of the restaurants..

This was the greatest accommodation on our west coast road trip! Everything was perfect! Easy communication, smooth check in, friendly staff, hotel grounds were charming, with pool, fire pits and marvelous ocean view. Room with fireplace was beautiful, nice bathroom, we loved scented soap and shampoo. They prepared a cot for our baby in the room. The bed was comfortable. Parking in front of our room was very convenient. We would love to come back someday!
Great location and accommodation, but it's the staff that stand out. Danielle excels as Front Office Manager, and Areany meets all guests with a warm and helpful smile and attitude - all of which is VERY appreciated after a 4 hour drive!
Accommodation is great. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well designed. And the location is perfect! This was my favorite hotel on my drive from LA to San Francisco.
Contrary to someone else's recent review, we found the hotel and the room to be excellent. Well decorated and quite clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. The two closest restaurants were not our style, but a mile south into the little town provided an excellent choice of eateries. Pismo Beach...who knew? We were pleasantly surprised.
Breakfast was a big improvement on the morning fare in other hotels because there were options that were low sugar, wholemeal bread was available and the coffee was good.
The view in the oceanfront room spectacular and worth the extra cost make sure to request a second floor room.
The pool was absolutely gorgeous, heated, supersized and deep.
We have stayed at the Tides previously. So we knew what kind of motor hotel it was. The rooms are very clean if a little dated. The bathroom shower is very small but the pink tile is cute. The desk clerks are friendly and efficitent.
Loved the location, the staff were always friendly and helpful, loved that it was pet friendly, parking was a breeze, and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel in the future.
The man at the desk was so friendly. He upgraded us into a suite for free. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The view was so beautiful and the location was perfect. I will definitely be back!
Loved the location and seems to be newly remodeled. Staff was nice and helpful and we had a quite night with a comfy bed. We will definitely be back to this hotel.
