The staff were delightful. The room was very clean and cleverly laid out to be a studio with kitchen facilities. The restaurant next to the hotel was exceptional and they honour a 10% discount for hotel clients.

I enjoyed the free waffle at breakfast along with the eggs and bacon. Free coffee was nice too. The food was well handled and prepared, but the tables and chairs in the eating area were filty, please just clean or replace them.

I enjoyed the beach and I also enjoyed shopping at the little stores in Hammock Village. I also had a wonderful time experiencing the local cuisine. Great food and excellent customer service at Hanser House!! They serve the BEST key lime pie I ever tasted.

Quiet, peaceful & a slower pace. None of the noise & frantic pace of Myrtle Beach; plenty of great restaurants nearby!!!!You must visit Brookgreen Gardens just up the road and plan to stay for hours.

Room was accurate but the towels and rags was dirty thank god I brought my own’ Wi-Fi is poor it doesn’t work’ air conditioner wasn’t working properly that me & my children was sweating in our sleep when we never turned ac off. The breakfast is horrible’ it start way too early and end too early’ they need a whole new breakfast menu. My family only ate breakfast one night out of the five days we stayed.

There was a lot of stores and restaurants available with it not being too packed with people. The overall vibe of Pawleys Island was peaceful yet lively. Lord willing, I look forward to visiting again and I would have no problem with recommending this city to anyone.

I am currently retired and have been visiting Pawleys Island since I was about 5 years old. If you desire peace and quiet, a relaxed pace and extremely friendly who serve excellent food, this is your destination. !!!

I have been going to Pawleys Island for years. I have stayed in several different hotels there. I have eaten in a number of restaurants there and the food has always been good. I have no complaints about Pawleys Island or I wouldn't keep going back.
The front office person was fantastic. Even though she had hurt her knee, she was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was very good, especially the fresh waffles. Overall, their service was better than the four star hotel we stayed earlier in Charleston. Just a short drive to Pawley Island Beach.
Restaurant was being renovated so we went to the sister hotel for breakfast and it was fantastic. The room was more than i expected. It was perfect for our weekend couples get away. Enjoyed the ocean right from the porch without the wind and sand. I was looking for a relaxing time and that's what I got. Loved the room 101
Everything, Mrs Joyce Paul from housekeeping was extremely nice and had a great attitude, she made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay, she made sure we had clean linen, she was very nice and wish we enjoyed our stay, this made me and my husband,making this our primary hotel for our next getaway.
The breakfast was excellent, likely the best I’ve had in sometime in a hotel. The room was clean and the bed was more comfortable than I can remember any other hotel room bed being.
