Great location, Beautiful facilities and rooms, Friendly staff.
I love Panama city but just went for a funeral. So was only there for 2 days. The beach is not like it was when I was young. We wanted to walk on a pier but now you have to pay which to me is ridiculous. I still love PC but it is definitely different.

Panama City is a very busseling city.
Panama City is a very busseling city. We were lucky to have friends in nearby Lynn Haven so we did some things that were unexpected by us. The last thing we did was to visit Bear Creak Reserve, ware they teach you about big cats both native and not native. All monies that you pay go to feeding and medicine for thse great animals that are trained to interact with the guest.

The beaches were clean, excellent and vibrant.
The beaches were clean, excellent and vibrant. Most of the restaurants were great , excellent shopping malls and strip malls. We ate at Juicy sea food, Paula Deen’s Restaurant as well as Jinjin Chinese fusion etc ..etc. I will never eat at Whataburger anymore, cold fries , cold burger and very poor quality service.

Everything you need within a short drive of Red Roof...
Everything you need within a short drive of Red Roof including the beach. Po' Folks food was great. Staff was very attentive. Granny Cantrell's was amazing with the train that ran around the room on tracks close to the ceiling. The buffet was really down home cooking. Only thing is Baby County doesn't allow pets on the beach. But other counties do.

My wife I grew up in Panama City.
My wife I grew up in Panama City. Before hurricane Michael, Panama City was very nice, however since the hurricane there is still a lot of damage. It is so sad to see all the damage that is still there. The Panama City beaches weren't hurt as bad and most (if not all) of the damage has been rebuilt. But the neighborhoods, Parker, Springfield, Callaway, Tyndall Air Force Base, still have much damage. Tyndall Air Force Base is just a shell of its former self. All the of base housing has been leveled with bulldozers and hauled away.

Panama City has gotten run down.
Panama City has gotten run down. Food prices are over the top and the food is generally not up to par. We've been coming to PCB for 20 years and now we're done. It's just not worth it anymore.
Nothing.
Do not stay here. The outside facade looks nice but inside is a dump. The hotel smells. The rooms smell. The AC is loud. The shower is stained. The toilet roll dispenser was broken and missing. They gave us half a roll of toilet paper and only 2 hand towels. I had to request more. We showered with conditioner because they didn’t give us shampoo.
We had continental breakfast included but we didn’t even bother.
Do yourselves a favor and don’t bother with this place.
The perfect low price place to stay, a lot cleaner than expected, and the surrounding area looked fine and not run down but did not feel out of place for the area. Not too far from everything and there was a shuttle bus to the beach but I personally did not use
The property was very clean, including the common areas. Staff at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was very large, more than enough space for a family of three. The bathroom was very clean as well. The property was very convenient to the beaches.
Never stayed at a red roof. Their reputation isn't that great. But I gotta say this red roof staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Beds were comfy Great deal and a nice surprise for a red roof
Close to Panama Beach convenient location
The rooms were especially covid-cleaned. Employees were extra-super nice & friendly. Hotel easily accommodated my special requests. Very nice & comfortable handicapped accessible rooms. Location was ideal for my plans in the area.
Spacious rooms. Nice pool. OK fitness center.
Very helpful and kind staff.
Great value for money compared to others.
Parking just in front of the hotel.
It is on one of the main big streets so it is very well connected.
The location was close to the beach and to other stores. The size of the room was great. Employees were friendly. Other hotels didn’t have staff on board but this hotel did. Overall had no issue.
Location is ideal to get away from crowded area but still close enough to beach if desired to visit, plenty of places nearby to eat and shop. Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and quiet.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and it was nice and quiet. Extended my stay for 4 nights. Will definately recommend this hotel to friends .
