We only had the breakfast one morning, Sunday and since it was Mother's Day, it was free. It was fine, no better or worse than other hotel breakfasts.

Was just Okay. Needs some updating -- bed & pillows were needing to be replaced. Room darkening drapes would not shut. Had a small microwave & refrigerator. The couch in the room needed to be replaced as well-- sat IN it, instead of ON it -- difficult to get out of. Breakfast & breakfast facilities were very nice - as was the lobby area.

This Motel is too far away from downtown Olathe.
This Motel is too far away from downtown Olathe. Their only two restaurants you can walk to with no sidewalks. Any further and you have to cross a major higway just to get fast food, I used to work off of Santa Fe Road years ago. It was much too far to walk to. I made a mistake reserving a room at the Paolo, Kansas exit. I am sure it is great for truck Driver just trying to get a nights sleep. Or kids who want to swim indoors, but no restaurant or bar made this an upleasant stay for a single male not on business but just waiting for the next move. Never again

Olathe is my hometown and where my Dad still lives.
Olathe is my hometown and where my Dad still lives. I did not travel on vacation, but to spend time caring for him. Traffic in Olathe is a nightmare - streets are always crowded. There are many eateries and most are good. Since we live out of state, we always try to have Culver's burgers and Pizza Shoppe pizza when we visit. Jack's Stack BBQ in Martin City, Missouri is also great. There aren't really any tourist types of things to do in Olathe, but it is near Kansas City and other cities in the area with attractions.

I entered my room and went to the pool.
I entered my room and went to the pool. It was closed and no water. The whole point of staying there. I left/ checked out after being their 2 hours. Front Desk girl was not helpful. I want my money back
Traveled with my family my daughter forgot her phone in the hotel room. We called back to the hotel as soon as we knew it was missing and the staff told us the cleaning crew did not find anything. Mind you it was my daughters phone so I had her location turned on and it showed the phone location was still in the hotel. Called back and asked again. And no one knew anything. They told me they would go check and call me, never received a called. after a few calls the phone was turned off and location was not available.
My daughter and I stayed here for 3 weeks and we didn't want to leave. It felt like a home away from home. The lovely woman at the front desk - Cary - took exceptionally good care of us, putting us on the top floor away from any noise, always greeting us and making us feel welcome, and giving recommendations for things in the area. She was fantastic. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the staff kind and friendly, the hotel clean and convenient. We will definitely stay here again.
I needed a cheap, clean room at a pet friendly hotel and that’s exactly what I got. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was grab and go items. Perfect during a pandemic. The decor and style of the room was outdated but I didn’t pay for anything fancy or updated…just cheap, clean and pet friendly.
The breakfast was very good. My husband really liked the sausage, biscuits and gravy. Nice selection of foods. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping staff were very attentive to details. The hotel was on a major road with plenty of shopping close by. Easy to find especially for us older folks!
The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. They offered a variety of delicious foods for breakfast and everything was still hot and available when breakfast was over. Our room was quiet even though the hotel is located next to Interstate 35.
The Hotel was very nice, comfortable and clean!! Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and they had a nice variety. But be sure your there before it ends as they shut it up ON the DOT!! If I'm ever in Olathe again, I will most likely stay here.
I liked how nice and clean it was. How the check in time was late to give you time to get there. Decent location, it was easy to get to once the GPS quit trying to take me through construction, the construction wasn't the hotels fault though.
This was my first time in a Candlewood Suites Hotel. I found the concept to be very good! Being able to cook for myself instead of live in restaurants all the time was terrific. The staff was very friendly and responsive.
