Horrible! Extremely nasty and falling apart. Very unsafe! Doors did not lock from the outside. The hotel's management's idea to fix that issue was to chain outside doors shut. Curtains did not close so people could see into the room. Again extremely nasty! No true house keeping! Was scared of catching a disease or getting killed!

The Bush family homestead was interesting.
The Bush family homestead was interesting. The nature preserve was nice but the loud highway traffic sort of ruined the experience. The sand dunes were great. It was so pretty to see....just needed an ocean or lake to go with it !!! Connections Church was awesome.

Midland is not the town that you would purposely visit.
Midland is not the town that you would purposely visit. It is more ''pass by'' town to spend the night and continue with the trip. Theer are few nice restaurants and bars downtown but overall, this town is not cheap so if you go out for a dinner, be ready to pay prices like you are in any major USA city.

I stayed at the Grand Texan Hotel and Convention Center for one night before I went back to work. It was a terrible experience. PLEASE don't waste your money. The bed and pillow were dirty. The towels were dirty. The soap was even dirty. The coffee was expired four years ago. They advertised a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. That was non existent. They also advertised a pool. It was out of order. After I reached out to the hotel to let them know about my experience, they refused to make it right. Again, PLEASE don't waste your money.

We visited children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving.
We visited children and grandchildren for Thanksgiving. There is not a whole lot to do, but we came to spend time with family and did not seek much outside of spending time with family. Getting around was easy and we visited the Cinergy Movie theater and that was a blast for the grandchildren. We enjoyed our stay and visit. It really depends on what you like to do.
What is the value and everything it’s not worth it I’m paying $100 all said and done and there’s gaps in the door where there is no insulation and you can hear anything and everything up and down the hall causing my air conditioner was way too loud and it kept me awake after traveling 17 1/2 hours to come see a medical professional here in Midland and I asked him for a wake up call at 3305 and 315 I never received one so I was late to my doctors appointment that I have been waiting for for over a month
My vehicle was broke into and around 300.00 dollars worth of valuables were taken. No camera footage to show the area I parked in the parking lot. The manager didn’t even make a police report but I did. I tried to cancel second night and I wasn’t able to so we stayed and the second night car alarms went off all night. Will not go back due to unsafe parking lot. Staff were very nice and hotel not bad for the money but can’t risk my valuables.
The rooms were very well appointed. The AC got the room cool enough. The breakfast was also a good selection. The overall ambience and look of the hotel was nice. The location had a lot of places to eat closeby and was not so close to the freeway that there was a lot of road noise. The gym had a decent amount of equipment. The pool was clean. Housekeeping did a thorough job.
Front desk staff over night was rude my t.v did not work I called front desk she said no refund no change room and if I did not like room then leave and will give money back next day wen she talks to manager. And said maintenance was not there. The arad lady in midland rude unprofessional never will I recommend nobody go there. If u do u crazy,
The staff was so nice and the place was really pretty I love how the lobby was pretty much like a cool chill out area were you can eat, play board games/ pool table, computer area and also a snack bar. The locations is great also. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in midland / Odessa and I will only stay at this hotel now
The staff this time was very nice. Compared to last time. Room needed deep cleaned. Bedskirt had a dried wheat looked like snot on it . Room needed to be vacuumed around the walls. But sheets was clean and bed slept good .
I liked that the rooms being very spacious and clean. We travel all the time for work and travel softball so we are always in and out hotels, but this one is by far the nicest.
It was very clean, the room was very spacious and had a small kitchen! Something we weren't expecting. We've stayed at a few hotels and IHG hotels have been some of the best.
Staff couldn't be nicer, very helpful. Beds were so comfortable i Could take it home. Breakfast was ok. Room was fine, plenty of hot water. Plenty of room for parking
Nice clean & quiet room. Location was great! Hotel is close to Restaurants & Gas Stations (made it easier to get gas & get back on the road the next morning).
