The wineries we visited were good but crowded and very loud.

The wineries we visited were good but crowded and very loud. Nice shops but a bit too hunt country chic for my taste. The brick sidewalks presented a walking hazard. I tripped and twisted my ankle and spent most of the day with my foot elevated and iced. This trip was for our 40th wedding anniversary and that accident almost ruined our trip. Fortunately I hobbled to dinner at the tavern and that was wonderful.

    Very peaceful and excellent location.

Very peaceful and excellent location. Nice relaxing weekend. Close to Winchester and we were able to get over to West Virginia to visit friends in another 20 minutes. One of the most peaceful vacations I've ever been on.
