I thought Miami Beach would be more "Beachy" but we found the beach itself a bit boring. So, we turned to the city for fun, and we found many great places to eat and hang out. The free trolley service made it easy to explore North, South, and all between. This is a great place for a few days, a bit unique from other places.

Excellent stay. The room/apartment is spacious and has all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect. Just be aware that it is on top of Bar Palace. For us it was not an issue, it was a plus. Roof top pool access is also a must. Perfect hotel/apartments for a stay full of activities. It is not for relaxation. You should know that if booking any stay at Ocean Drive. Thank you.

Lovely beach and clean and not too busy over Easter weekend. Fun to watch the pelicans dive bombing for food. There was a shelf so not great for swimming that particular weekend. Left our bag and towels to swim and took all of 20 seconds for an opportunistic person to start scoping our stuff - beware of thieves (luckily I saw and ran back to our bag and towels) and try to take nothing of value or no bags to the beach at all. Despite the police presence, there appear to be opportunists about.

Location was near the beach , love the walk to the beach and the complementary chairs& beach towels offered . Top bar with DJ , restaurant with great food on premises open for breakfast and lunch , clean room, walking distance to a shops..
We felt at home at The Betsy. Our room and the facilities were super comfortable and the staff were like family (Gonzalo, Monica, Jose (Messi), Enrique, Sanabel, Santiago to name just a few). Location is wonderful; food was also excellent (we are picky Europeans!) and i was able to work well - hotel has various comfortable/quiet areas for working professionals. I would not stay anywhere else in South Beach - i have been many times and always disappointed with hotels (even expensive ones all have a very cheap and party vibe).

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days to celebrate our babymoon. Hotel pics look exactly how you see it on the website. Hotel is very clean, we were greeted each time we entered the hotel. Excellent location in South Beach. The beach is easy walking steps from hotel and easy access to numerous restaurants. The bed was comfortable.
The restaurant next door we ate one day for breakfast and it was delicious. The French toast was amazing.

The hostel was great for 4 people and it had enough space to sit in the room and chat. Beds were okay. Bathroom was okay. The lobby of the hotel and garden were great for chatting. The location of the hostel was close to the beach. You can go to South Beach by walking, it will take some time to go there but the coast line is great. And the room cleaning was great. In addition there is a 7/24 open subway near the hostel so it can be helpful for long times.
The Marlin is the best value in South Beach. It's very centrally located, you can see the beach from the lobby. The hotel is literally 1 block from the beach, a parking garage, a liquor store, a smoke shop and 11th Street Diner(open24hrs). The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and SPACIOUS. Minibar is well appointed. Collins Ave is alot more quiet then Ocean Drive at night but noisier during the day because of the cars.

Location was excellent. You are in Miami Beach but not on the busy sight. In 10 minutes walking you're in South Beach close to all the restaurants and nightclubs and shopping. You are 10 min away from Publix and infront of the hotel is the Holocaust museum. They clean the apartment everyday. Our amazon packages arrived early and they kept it secure. There is a security on property the whole day. Would recommend.
This is a comfortable hotel with adequate communal space in a great location. This is a historic property in the heart of South Beach on Ocean drive. It was superb value for money. The staff try hard to sort out issues. We had a lovely spacious room which had all the necessary extras - TV, Fridge, Coffee making facilities etc. 2 bottles of water were provided daily and the breakfast was a typical US breakfast.
