Our host greeted us with a beautiful assortment of fruits, sweets, quiche, etc., and chatted about the area, things to do, etc.

The grounds are beautiful. I was blown away by the attention given when we received our assigned room. My husband cannot do too many steps, however, the staff took note and changed the room.

It was not a good value at all, the room smelled very strong and was very nauseating. The bathroom was for lack of a better word, icky and at that moment decided we would not stay. (dirty, moldy, in need of a total remodel). I requested a refund and was denied. Booking should not have this hotel on their website, as it is not up to minimal standards… very disappointing.

Marietta is a quaint town on the Susquehanna River. There are a number of great restaurants and pubs that are worth visiting. Ate at McCleary's Pub and the fish and chips were very good! I would eat them again.
