There were great places to eat and shop. Flying kites on the beach is very relaxing. We ate at Chico's Pizza. Love the then crust on their pizzas. We always eat there at least once while in town. Drop Anchor was recommended by the locals and it did not disappoint. The oyster shooters were wonderful! Had the prawns and lobster tail and it was delicious. (Not a puny lobster tail either!)

Really, we could have seen the beach and the town's main drag in two days, rather than the three we planned. Families with little kids would enjoy the wide stretch of beach, but as an older couple, we'll only book two nights in the future. Don't miss Marsh's Free Museum, the quirkiest souvenir shop ever! Plenty of good dining options.

I have been coming to Long Beach since I was five years old and I am now 76. It has been a place of memories of such great fun and there are so many other wonderful places to visit that are not that far from LB. We also like to travel over the bridge to Astoria, Or.
Loved the pool with adult hours, the spa with talented massage therapists, and the great pet friendly room we stayed in. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the incredible beach. Very quiet and peaceful stay. The restaurant on site is GREAT as well with incredible views. Felt very comfortable and greatly enjoyed the stay. Excellent large bath with jets and everything, very nice. The shower was also nice.
The condo we stayed in was clean and comfortable, and handily located close to the swimming pool. We liked the fire pits and seating behind the hotel. The staff is friendly and efficient. Loved the new plush towels provided for the swimming pool. The updates that have been made to this facility in the past few years are wonderful. The Chautauqua is our go-to place in Long Beach.
Absolutely loved going to long Beach and staying in the cottage. It was an amazing experience that my family and kids got to enjoy. The games and movies they provide are great for down times like when it started to rain or before bed. Fully equipped with everything you need. I wish it was closer then 6 hours or we would be staying a lot.
very comfortable and Dee was so friendly and welcoming. I like that they are associated with the Adrift hotel and their heated saltwater pool. unfortunately I didn’t know this and didn’t bring my suit but will the next time. The pastries in the morning were a bonus!
I liked that it was close to everything in Downtown Long Beach, but the no parking and having to drag all our luggage and food in and then up stairs was a bummer. I also liked the rooftop patio.
The pool amenities were awesome however the hours for families to be able to enjoy the pool were disappointing. We liked that it was pet friendly and so close to the beach.
There was no breakfast. Unlike the advertised description it was an older motel. It is not a hotel. Not a place to eat either. Box of cold cereal to take back to room.
Nice remodel of the old Rodeway Inn. Great location for Long Beach. Very clean rooms and pet friendly. Other than our neighbors waking us up at 3:00 am it was good
