Really charming Lodge with a nice small comfortable room, and a good couple of chairs on the porch. The General Manager was really nice and helpful on checking in providing suggestions for local restaurants and hikes. Really pieceful and quiet place. Also comes with self-serve breakfast in the morning, perfect before going on the road.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Very close to Linville Falls and plenty of hiking. We have stayed at the Linville Falls national park on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the past, very rustic with no water or electricity. Linville Falls Campground and RV Park offer full RV hookups for a little more money!

It is in a cute little neighborhood, but there are trees for privacy. The house seemed roomy and comfortable with everything we needed. The hot tub was just what we needed and the hosts even left chocolate and wine for us. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved this quiet, quaint motel. We had a King room so the room was a little small with the King bed. However, this room met our needs and was very clean. I wish they wouldve had a refrigerator and microwave in the room in case you didnt feel like going outside and walking down the porch to get to the breakfast "nook" at the end. There is a country store and good restaurant right there at the corner of the motel which is very convenient.

We selected primitive camping and it was fine for that concept. There were lighted paths to bathhouse, adequate showers, camper duo arrived late and loud, little store was good and a general store on main road was good, the children had a super play area.

A great little cozy spot in the mountains!
A great little cozy spot in the mountains! Comfy room and bed with a wrap around porch that I enjoyed in the morning. Would have liked to have had a few more days to enjoy the location but my schedule didn't allow for it. Would love to return some day.

Linville Falls is beautiful, if you don’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of Boone and Blowing Rock but want a short drive to it....LINVILLE FALLS! Eat at the Rock House for any meal, opens early closes around 9 with Covid...friendly staff, great food! It was very foggy, be prepared for that!

Great place. Simple rooms but very clean.
Great place. Simple rooms but very clean. Staff superb to work with. Continental breakfast was complete with breads, bars, yogurt, fruits and juices - plus condiments. Rooms have small coffee bar with different types of coffee and hot chocolate. Oh, and if your cold natured, the rooms are toasty warm.

Nice mom & pop motel. Clean and well-appointed.
Nice mom & pop motel. Clean and well-appointed. Self-serve continental breakfast. Although the mountain air is great, I would have preferred AC to sleeping with windows opened to sleep comfortably. Everything was very neat and clean.
