Quick Trip. Expected more out of the area. I do not plan on coming back for business. Very disappointed! Hooters was disappointing. The wings were small and not good. Twin Peaks had great fish on Friday.

The first room I was placed in smelled like mold and it was a lot of moisture in the room. I attempted to try and spray the room with air freshener it did not work. Also there was not batteries in the remote. I went to the desk and asked for another the the young man that was there was pretty nice and he moved us. However this room was still not a 10. If you needed to a quick place to sleep then this is it but if you want a clean room where you are comfortable stay away!

Coming from Oklahoma, it was a great place to be. You are just a short drive from many main places. Our favorite place to eat was BD's. We were in town for golf and there is no shortage of courses in the area.

I went to Lenexa for the wedding of my niece.
I went to Lenexa for the wedding of my niece. Just picked a random Hotel for the price. It was the second lowest priced hotel in the area. Called Studio 6, I think it was a motel 6 before. But the remodel was beautiful inside the rooms.
Lots of shopping in Lenexa.
A lot of restaurant options. I ate at the Applebee's, because I love Applebee's.
But I was only there for one day.
There was lots of road construction so you have to really watch what Lane you're in to get off the right exits. But new construction leads to better roads so I had no problem with that.
I will have to visit again

The city of Lenexa is beautiful with many things to do and many places to shop and stay. I love this town. But like any other town in the world there are pros and cons. The town is clean. They take pride in it. There are plenty of places to stay that are awesome, but see my review of the Extended Stay motel for a con. Lenexa has great parks and entertainment and is not far from The Legends outlet mall, the KCK Nascar Speedway, The Sporting KC major league soccer stadium and the KC Monarchs Minor League Baseball stadium. I would recommend a stay in this area anytime!

Love Lenexa. Easy to get around in. Modern area. Some places still in construction but nicer than OP or older suburbs. Tons of coffee shops, eateries, ice cream places. Must make reservations for places like Cheesecake Factory early in the day because of reduced seating for Covid. Highly recommend Lenexa Market across the street from hotel for first rate Mexican at Red Tamale and coffee, etc. can eat inside or out on patio. Check out The Lenexa Market.
complimentary breakfast was good, hotel was clean, staff was great and location was perfect. a staff member that checked us in even offered to set out a cone in our handicap parking spot when we left for our concert because my husband who’s in a wheelchair was concerned there wouldn’t be any handicap spots left when we got back since it would be late. he was right and the only handicap spot left was the one she put a cone in for us! service like that is hard to come by and it was MUCH appreciated!
I stayed with my wife here for a week I became I'll my legs swelled so much that I couldn't walk to good. The front desk gentlemen help out I went to hospital week later I booked two more nights for my wife. I called to let them know my wife would be checking in.it was the gentlemen he said yes I remember you two I'll take care of everything and wanted to know how I was doing. And took care of my wife's hotel needs.

This is a Motel 6, so I expect it to be a bare-bones motel room. And it was. The room was clean, the shower water pressure was adequate, and the room actually had a small fridge and microwave. Since we were near the front we did have a little highway noise, but not too bad. Location was very handy to everything in west Overland Park & Lenexa, including all the shops around Oak Park mall.
So you're trying me I had to pay twice for my two rooms I was to have??? I called both hotel and customer service and was told there was no deposit!!! I wouldn't have driven 2 hours if there was a deposit. And when will I be credited 200%.???? 50+50+60+56= equals pay me because I would've found something cheaper. You robbed me for 50 bucks?????
It was located very far from the airport, but very close to my destination. Everything was very clean, and the staff was very nice. I don’t need a hotel gym or pool or restaurant. I just needed a clean, comfortable place to stay for a few days at a reasonable price, and this fit the bill.
Really good deal, there was nothing to complain about, room was quiet, spacious and comfy. I stayed in several rather cheap hotels on this trip, but this was by far the best! Nothing out of the ordinary but overall a good experience.
I loved how upgraded and renovated the hotel was. It was very clean and it showed that it was cleaned prior to coming. The space was great also for the price.
