Good location close to Lake Lure beachfront and the main town. It's not too far from the grocery store. Excellent mountain view. I appreciated the number of seating options, inside and outside, for our large group. The road leading to the property wasn't excessively steep or narrow. Black Mountain, NC was a Great little town for coffee houses, restaurants and shopping. Wide variety of food choices.
Enjoyed "My Father's Pizza", the German restaurant and "Phil's BBQ".
The drive was beautiful but, the last mile and a half to the property was steep to say the least! A real hoot!
Enjoying the views and hiking from the cabin was our fun.
Watch out for bears and keep the doors shut. Bring your walking stick with a bell. LOL
